We just shoot terribly. We are a jump shooting team that can't shoot. Won't win a lot of games with that formula.

So many negative thoughts. I'll get the one positive one out of the way: I love Michigan basketball. Beyond that, however....
- this team is painful to watch.
- Chatman is terrible. That is a missed opportunity for a redshirt.
- There are so many "young team" mistakes, that its no longer an excuse. So many dumb things happening, with Chatman's twice fouling of a 3-point shooter leading the way.
- Nobody on this team is ready and willing to "be the MAN" and take over. Not Caris, not anybody. I miss Nik so bad.

I miss Nik and J Mo.
I think J Mo did lots of little things that benefited the team that might not have shown up on the stat sheet.

I'm not sure I've seen a 50:50 ball that Minny hasn't gotten. Really tough to see and uncharacteristic from previous years.

Just watching the team on my laptop in Denver, it really seems we are missing second-chance rebounds. Not the first ones that come off the backboard but actually possessing the ball and setting up a transition offense.

This team is just not good. So many forced jump shots, especially with LeVert pulling up with people directly in his face.

It's just a team with no experience in the front court, and you can see it really hurting this team right now. Nobody rolls to the hoop properly, spacing is all off, and the guards can't do enough on both ends to compensate. Also, Irivin basically disappearing for long stretches isn't helping.
It's an NIT team right now; not unexpected given they fact they are missing three guys picking up NBA paychecks from last year.

And "picking up checks" is all they are doing. Not one from the group of Stauskas, McGary, and Robinson is making a meaningful contribution in the NBA so far.
