Well, if OSU is going to challenge that, the position of the Gatorade barrel is probably in danger of being questioned too, along with whether or not the bench is parallel to the sideline. That was a real head-scratcher to me.

with 5 minutes to go in the first quarter the Illini have yet to play an offensive snap past their 15 yard line, with most within the 5 yard line. Oh, and now Iowa caused a safety, so 2-0 here in Champaign, back to you MGoblog...

early before everyone gets to their seats (in their living room seats) early. Says to me UM will hang with Ohio early because of their defense but with the usual 2 to 4 interceptions it should be in the bag for OSU after your second beer.

Sick catch by Illini receiver there
November 15th, 2014 at 12:37 PM ^
Iowa fumbled on their 34 and a couple plays later Lunt throws a 34 yarder for the score. Lunt is a player, he's going to get the Illini rolling in a couple years...7-2 Illini over Iowa with 2:29 to go in the first quarter.

Let me just say that it is very kind of Minnesota to let Ohio State practice successful third down conversions - it's a vital skill and the Minnesota defense is doing some solid mentoring right now.
Ohio State now had 196 total yards of offense and we're still in the 1st quarter, of course.

Yeah, Braxton Miller's not getting his job back. Transfer time.

Coach says he's getting the job next year but now it doesn't look like he is and he and Coach Meyer have a falling out so he 'Benedict Arnold's on him and transfers to Michigan.

OSU will never release him to Michigan. (It's bullcrap that schools can do that, but that's another debate.) But he should transfer somewhere.
November 15th, 2014 at 9:41 PM ^
Transfer of a scholarship player within a conference are not allowed. I know Justin Boren is a famous example, but he transferred to OSU without of scholarship and essentially became a walk-on.

Miss St. has a dual threat QB yet is basically a power/physical team.Michigans version of manball uses a Fullback & 2 TE's.Give me the Miss St. version every time.As you watch the games today notice how few teams use a fullback.

I'd suggest Braxton Miller switch to running back, but he wouldn't start over Elliott. Receiver? He sure isn't getting his job back over Barrett, that's for sure.

Urban has not lost a regular season Big 10 game in 3 years. That's sick even in this pathetic conference. Also depressing.

Ohio lets Minnesota back in the game. That was a huge swing on the interception.

I must say I took some pleasure in watching Bosa miss the tackle on the Cobb TD. Bosa is certainly a beast, but that defense is not good yet, not at all.

Minnesota's punt game today has been on point. Sad that Michigan's best plays last week were downing two punts at the 1 yard line.

I agree there were some great defensive plays. You are free to disagree, no need for the blind acceptance.
