Belgium: A much less effective buffer zone than France expected.
Prima PIls by Victory Brewing out of PA is the best pilsner I have had. I really like Pilsner Urquell, but a lot of people don't like the mineral taste of the water it's brewed with. Prima Pils is awesome without the noticeable gypsum.
EDIT: Supposed to be a reply to #10.
Pilsner Urquell is a shadow of its former self, but still a very good beer, if you like the pilsner style. The fermentation and recipe changes adopted after the fall of communism and transition to a market economy have noticably changed the taste. But I still like it.
And screw Belgium, at least for today. Eat their waffles, drink their beer, rename their fries, they're still going down!
Why are the streets in Belgium lined with trees? Anyone?
So the Germans can march in the shade.
Nothing is as American as White Castle, but the Belgian Waffle sammiches...I haz a confused.
I don't want to ruin it for you the rest of the year, but White Castle Corporate HQ is just a few miles south of the Horeshoe, here in Columbus. It is about the equivalent direction and distance as the intersection State & I-94 is from the Big House.
But when drunk, I'll still gravitate to White Castle. KMart HQ is close to where I used to live in Michigan, sometimes puts people off as well. But now, we're a Target family. :-)
I work in an office with a guy from Switzerland, another from Argentina, a guy from England, and another American. Today will be epic.
Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!
No matter what, you all have bragging rights over the Englishman.
You do a good job of shutting up the English if they say anything. They've team is absolute shite.
