Reminded me of the call in the Italy - Australia game in 2006. Poor defending. Regardless of whether the striker sought the contact, you can't go to ground in the penalty area and not get the ball.
Precisely. Regardless of how Costa made contact (and it looked legit), de Vrij can't be sliding on the ground and not get the ball. Just begging for a penalty.
Another bad call it looks like.
