Wow, BG has turned it over on downs three times? I mean, at least they're going for it! I'm not sure what any of the plays looked like, I'm just following the game cast while I sit in rehearsal.

Username checks out. Cello? Bass? Low Brass? So curious what you are in rehearsal for.

Bass trombone (this week, I specialize in bass trombone but I play a lot of tenor trombone too)- with the Flint Symphony Orchestra. We're doing Brahm's 4th Symphony, and the trombones only play the last movement, so I'm just doing a lot of sitting and listening. (and following BG football tonight, I did my bachelor's there) We're actually done with the last movement now, we started with it, but I've gotta stick around for the piece that we're rehearsing after the break. Otherwise I'd just head home.

Nice! I studied bass trombone and tuba at Interlochen. Kindred spirit! I know hat it’s like to sit for 60% of a symphony. Lots of counting.

Oh wow, no kidding! Did you study with Tom Riccobono?
Show's on Saturday, 7.30pm, and it's being livestreamed, if anyone is interested.

Toledo fan here. They are pretty awful, it's amazing that are going to be in the conference championship game. The MAC has been in a steady decline for awhile, but NIL seems to have hurt it even more.

This is where I wish the top 60 schools would just break away.
Then create an entirely new division with 45-50 of the "next 60" + the top 10-15 FCS schools.
It would be awesome to see #6 Toledo playing #8 North Dakota St. tonight - fighting for a chance to get into their CFP.
I'm sure it's an unpopular opinion, but as a college football fan, I think it would be cool to have two playoff races and twice the number of important games/big time matchups.
We had Georgia/Tennessee last week, it would be cool for these kids in the MAC, Sun Belt, etc. to get that same feeling where it's all on the line.
Instead some of these schools are playing in front of hundreds over maaaybe an opportunity to get to a Motor City Bowl. It's just not the same.
