The pre-game roid boosters are finally kicking in.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:20 PM ^
If you grab his face mask you might as well hold on.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:22 PM ^
Not that it matters but I'm not sure how the officials missed that when his head got twisted around backwards
November 9th, 2019 at 4:26 PM ^
Both of these teams deserve a playoff spot. Alabama/ LSU/ Clemson/ Ohio State/ Georgia are the top five teams. Everyone else is second tier. Clemson is getting little attention right now but make no mistake- they can beat any of those teams right now.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:28 PM ^
Like how Burrow hits the receiver in stride out of the backfield.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:28 PM ^
Why can't we have a passing game like LSU?
November 9th, 2019 at 4:29 PM ^
Harbaugh.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:30 PM ^
And talent. It's both.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:37 PM ^
A player like Burrow transfers and transforms a program instantly. I wonder what the hell Harbaugh judges in QB. Patterson looks like a high school QB compared to The QB’s of the top teams. Watching this game just reminds me of how far we are behind
November 9th, 2019 at 4:44 PM ^
patterson came knocking. would you have told him to just go away? no way. that said, i agree the QB spot has kept this team from big things a couple years already under JH tenure.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:45 PM ^
LSU is also more talented at basically every position especially QB.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:07 PM ^
You seriously think players go to lsu to play school? Think about that before you ask dumb questions... UM has high standards, never forget that.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:24 PM ^
We have the NCAA minimum standards, that's it. Just because you keep saying that doesn't make it true.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:54 PM ^
First, you are wrong. Our minimum exceeds the NCAA minimum.
Second, let’s say we are AT the NCAA minimum - schools like OSU and the others currently at the top allow conduct that is BELOW the NCAA minimum standard (skipping classes, not taking exams, etc.)
I said this in prior threads about Chase Young and I will say it again here - for those complaining that we are ONLY around top 10-15 under harbaugh and ONLY winning around 9-10 a year, the schools that are appreciably better are largely there because they play by a different set of rules.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:29 PM ^
There were two guys wide open.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:29 PM ^
Michigan isn't even in the ballpark of either of these teams makes me sad
November 9th, 2019 at 4:30 PM ^
Don't think I've ever seen a Saban defense that confused on a play.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:30 PM ^
LSU isn't getting much on the ground but the pass game is definitely working.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:32 PM ^
hopefully LSU blows bama out and eliminates them from the playoff. a close loss practically guarantees a playoff spot for bama. seems like they get in the playoff half the time without even winning their conf.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:37 PM ^
Going from Minnesota-PSU to this, I don't even feel like I'm watching the same sport.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:38 PM ^
We sure as shit aren't playing the same sport as these guys. I thought our 2016 team could hang with anybody as far as scheme and talent, I haven't thought that since.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:39 PM ^
Both of these teams would blow out PSU and Minny. OSU will kick the shit out of PSU
November 9th, 2019 at 4:38 PM ^
Just hope that both Gattis & Brown are watching this game with a notebook in hand !
November 9th, 2019 at 4:39 PM ^
Not Brown. He thinks his scheme is unbeatable if executed
November 9th, 2019 at 4:49 PM ^
I wouldn't doubt that Brown would win a few national titles if he was the DC on these teams.
So in a sense he would be right if he thought that. These teams and their DCs show nothing to tell us they're in any way superior to Brown. Just look at Gattis right now as our OC.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:51 PM ^
As last year's game in C'bus proved.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:41 PM ^
I think that was a fortunate spot for LSU to be honest
November 9th, 2019 at 4:44 PM ^
Bama got the short end on the spot. But fuck em.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:45 PM ^
Dumb penalty LSU. Would have converted.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:46 PM ^
Interesting that they pay attention to delay of game down south. But when Penn State hikes the bell two seconds after the clock hits zero, they still get rewarded the TD.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:47 PM ^
Tua was incredibly shortsighted to slide at the marker on third down.
Does he not want to win the game or what?
November 9th, 2019 at 4:47 PM ^
Unlike the BIG, the refs in the SEC know what a delay of game is
November 9th, 2019 at 4:49 PM ^
Saban has lost his fastball. He's being propped up by his still ace recruiting and creampuff scheduling, but the defensive tactics aren't there anymore.
Like Lawrence last year, Burrow is exposing him badly.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:52 PM ^
I can't believe Tua has been able to move around this much and take so many hits and still looks this good.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:55 PM ^
LSU has pretty much dominated this game other than two plays, but that's been enough for Bama to stay in it.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:58 PM ^
Big plays keeping Bama from getting whooped.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:15 PM ^
Which tends to prove Meyer's point that in the college game the best teams need to have explosive, big play capability for various, equally good reasons.
November 9th, 2019 at 4:59 PM ^
I haven’t seen our receivers open like this for what seems like forever, not to mention our QB hitting them in stride.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:04 PM ^
When is the last time it’s happened consistently? Henne?
November 9th, 2019 at 5:11 PM ^
Rudock/Speight, and Butt, Chesson, and Darboh was a great combination
November 9th, 2019 at 5:00 PM ^
Not sure what game you guys are watching but Bama has been moving the ball the whole game.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:05 PM ^
Not really...
November 9th, 2019 at 5:11 PM ^
You seem confused. The team in yellow is LSU
November 9th, 2019 at 5:14 PM ^
Now that's just not true.
They have 6 points from the offense.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:04 PM ^
"All the speed he had, he was hitting that crack as fast as he could."
-Gary Danielson
November 9th, 2019 at 5:11 PM ^
Wow, I think it's a TD. Did he not re-establish? Close call for sure.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:14 PM ^
Do people really think we can’t do what LSU is doing with our WRs? They were ranked around or higher than who’s playing for them.
Gattis was supposed to do this. I know Burrow is a stud but still Collins n co don’t even have the ball thrown to em as much as the completions the LSU guys have. Harbaugh has no excuse for this coaching malpractice.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:17 PM ^
Pretty sure we all know what the problem is and it ain't Gattis
November 9th, 2019 at 5:22 PM ^
I don't think anyone really knows what you're referring to.
If you are referring to any single thing than you'd be wrong. There are a lot of problems on the team. We could have a good OC this team still wouldn't be great. We could have a good QB and this team still wouldn't be great. We could have a good coach rather than Harbaugh and we still wouldn't be great.
There is no single problem that defines our struggles unless you want to be biased and choose to use one as a scapegoat.
November 9th, 2019 at 5:14 PM ^
shocking that the refs don't know the rules; especially seratore.
