IU was without Morgan for the majority of the game and still managed to break their 7 game losing streak with a win in primetime at MSU. Time to bang folks.

It's still an uphill battle to win the conference though.  MSU's remaining schedule is significantly easier than ours. We have no easy wins left on the schedule whereas MSU still gets to play Illinois and Rutgers.

Three losses probably wins it outright.  All number per KenPom:

  • Michigan: 1.9% chance of going 18-2 and a 10.8% chance of going 17-3.
  • MSU: 6.7% chance of going 18-2 and a 24.1% chance of going 17-3.
  • Purdue has a 3.8% chance of going 18-2 and a 15.6% chance of going 17-3, pending the current game against Minnesota.
  • Wisconsin has a 1.3% chance of going 17-3.

Obviously, these numbers are interdependent based upon remaining games between the teams, but they should give you a good idea.  More losses are coming, for all of the top teams.

Damn.

I'm just following the score on ESPN, but it was Minny 47 Purdue 39 w/ ~13 min left when I first checked.  A 23-6 Purdue run later, it's Minny 53, Purdue 62 w/ 3:37 to go.
