I rewatched that TD. Tua can absolute spin those missiles. I watched his TD in the title game last year maybe 400 times. I swear, him throwing a football is the football equivalent of a Ken Griffey swing. It's just something else to me

This will get negged to hell but if you really want an idea of where our coaching deficiencies hit this year just watch these 2. They are both truly multiple offense and defense. Both offenses can run or pass efficienty and will use either or to set up the other, will spread you out and make you cover the entire field and get the ball to playmakers in space. On defense they can match up one on one and cover in zone. Allowing to throw a multitude of different looks at the quarterback to confuse them and make them think helping the pass rushers get home or cause turnovers by getting rid of it to soon. For how much we complain about recruiting advantage, these 2 teams really have the coaching advantage. Now JH and DB are more than capable of putting Michigan on the level coaching wise, but they really need to self evaluate themselves and see how easy it is for an opposing offense or defense to attack them

Oh baby we have a good one.

If you aren't watching for lame reasons like "I don't support the system", then you are a fool!

Well, this might be fun.

And how many teams would have thrown it two consecutive times backed up on 2nd and 22 from their own eleven?  Not a swipe at UM's playcalling, I think most teams would have turtled there, maybe a safe screen or something.

Georgia had something like a 96% chance with less than a minute left to beat Bama in the NC game last year.

Oklahoma lost a very close game to Clemson last year.

Ohio State still has players on the team from the year they beat Bama in the playoffs, it's not like it's ancient history or something.

Clemson recruits really well, but there are more than a few teams that recruit better.

These two teams are elite, but they're not unbeatable.

I'm watching the 'Field Pass' on ESPN2 and it is so off-the-charts annoying it is actually now registering as awesome. I feel like the next logical move is to try to get Tebow drunk.

Basketball on grass!!  Or 2 potent offenses dualing each other?

Can we have nice things too?

We have the D, the players on O, what’s missing?!

This will be exciting yet sad. In today’s football you gotta score lots of points in big time games. We gotta open this sucker up. Harbaugh is smart. He probably is watching this. He can’t watch and think we shouldn’t attacking downfield!!

Look at the balls Dabo and Saban have.

Both qbs started shaky and they went RIGHT BACK TO THEM giving them confidence to set up huge TDs

Harbaugh would initiate the “run into stacked box” play for the rest of the half.

Ok, so on that TD run:

Harbaugh's love of TEs is reasonable on the surface. It's a Moneyball thing--it's an undervalued position, and by getting them on the field you can attack overmatched LBs in the passing game.

But: 1. Harbaugh doesn't attack those LBs much; 2. The TEs this year were disappointing downfield;

3. The advantage of spreading it out, which Michigan does from time to time, is evident in that TD play, where a fat DE winds up having to cover Lawrence on the zone read, leaving open space for Etienne to exploit.

And here's the thing: Michigan, with great blocking wideouts, has an advantage there.

Michigan has great, explosive playmakers, contra the standard line. But they are receivers. Put them on the field.
