It’s sad when a person, who is a dirt bag, has an illness like this and may suffer extreme pain because of it.  It’s probably best to leave him alone to his own sufferings.  Football is one thing but human suffering is another.  We play the games and let him be.

Can we get one of the reporters to ask Harbaugh “Talk about Urban Meyers Injury status and how that relates to the direction of both programs” during his next presser?

Seems to me the groundwork is being laid for his departure after this season.

- coach in waiting

- tension with his bosses

- cyst causing headaches

I think he's going to walk.

Honestly, even as an Ohio State fan, I would 100% be okay with him leaving after this season. From a health and wellness standpoint, Urban needs to step away soon. There's nothing left for him to prove as a coach.

This is the first time the national media is picking up this story, but Urban hasn't been in good health for a few seasons now. The brain cyst apparently gets inflamed and fills up faster when Urban is under stress, and it got so bad in 2014, Urban had to undergo surgery to drain it and relieve the pressure.

Regardless of what you think of the man from a moral standpoint, Urban without a doubt takes his job way too seriously. Every mistake on the field agonizes him, and success brings him very short term joy before he starts to prep for the next game/season. Every of shot Urban on the sidelines the last few seasons it looks like he is beyond stressed, and agitated.

This isn't a game to Urban, this is an never-ending pursuit for complete and unobtainable perfection... That neurotic drive and attention to every little detail is what makes him a great coach, but also what is probably slowly damaging him.

We should also keep in mind.  Wealth and status equal better access to the best quality health care and hence more diagnosis and treatment.  I am not reaching any conclusions about Meyer, simply pointing out that we can't count how many people either forego health care or don't have access to the best specialists, etc. who are also aging and acquiring health conditions.

I bet all that stress from his cover up scandal really did a number on his health. Basically self inflicted
