Cant you get that from 11w?

01/08/2019 - 6:20pm Not to mention the Big Ten…

Not to mention the Big Ten Schedule.  We all know the home away madness of OSU/MSU, but why do we play Wisconsin as a cross over for something like 8/9 out of 11/12??  The games have been enjoyable, but Wisconsin most years are no joke.

So did I, but by the third comment I had figured out who Matt Dudeck is and the topic of the post without whining...

01/08/2019 - 5:11pm LOL.... All I can do is…

LOL.... All I can do is laugh now, its a pathetic time to be a Michigan football fan, but, an outstanding time to be a basketball fan...

01/04/2019 - 10:58am Every time JH brought in…

Every time JH brought in Milton or McCaffery he seemed to run some variation of RPO, do you think this is indicative of a future style of offense he wants to run or more so inexperienced QB + Average Line + blowout = run the ball???

I am very intrigued by McCaffery ability to run and Milton's ability to keep plays alive, albeit True Frosh so most of those plays needed up going no where.

In the end wouldn't mind seeing more of these two sprinkled in even if Patterson is back.  IMO, Patterson is reminiscent of a more athletic Ruddock rather than some world shattering stat breaker.  Game manager, but hasn't shown the ability to go out and win a game when Michigan needs someone to step up on Off.

01/04/2019 - 10:50am Please, and who will replace…

Please, and who will replace him?  The school has invested upwards of $15Mil.+ in this guy and his staff on an annual basis.

01/04/2019 - 10:15am Well that and there are no…

Well that and there are no rules when it comes to recruiting down there.  Michigan does it's fair share of 'paying' players, but no where on the same level as the Bama's/OSU's of the NCAA....

01/04/2019 - 10:05am ok....Thanks

ok....Thanks

01/04/2019 - 9:50am Honestly this is it right…

Honestly this is it right here.  People on this board will rip a comment like this apart because they dont want to except the truth.  Michigan recruits at a level below the Georgias, OSU, Clemsons, and Especially the Bamas of the world.  Those are the only 4 teams who have any legitimate shot at winning NC year after year.  Until Michigan figures out how to consistently pulling in 15-20 4/5 stars each class, retain them, and produce we will also be playing for second best...in the BIG.

01/04/2019 - 9:48am Things only keep getting…

Things only keep getting better for Us michigan fans.....LB coach to OSU in a lateral move, OL coach to Bama in a lateral move.  Meanwhile, Offense can't score 30 on any meaningful defense and the defense cant stop anyone meaningful.....I sometimes wonder why I chose to follow Woodson back in the 90's....But then I remember he was a GEEEEEEE at Green Bay, so as of now al worth it.  Just beat OSU one more time in my lifespan please...

01/04/2019 - 9:42am It's a rope for f**ks****rs…

It's a rope for f**ks****rs like those three. A rope for criminals. The harder you squeeze to the rope, the more you slide down it into the shit puddle.

Always go through a period of poor shooting.  Just calm it down and extend the lead one basket at a time.

Should be ready to roll.  I get DL losing a lot when Gary decides not to play, because Soloman et al. , but no excuse for LB's.

Dax Hill:  "F........ck"

Zack Harrison: "Welp"

12/12/2018 - 3:47pm Why are there so many people…

Why are there so many people who get offended when fans state the obvious.  Michigan is allowed to have short comings and we are allowed to point them and discuss.

Higdon and Evans are good, but arguably Evans has not gotten any better since year 1, and Hig is not elite, far from it.  He tends to disappear in some big games.  Its easy to say Charbonett will be a stud, we said about a lot of the guys on his list....

12/11/2018 - 2:40pm lol aint happening...honest…

lol aint happening...honest question has anyone ever flipped a 5-star from Bama, in the modern Saban era??

12/09/2018 - 3:50pm Agreed, it seems he may love…

Agreed, it seems he may love Michigan and the decision was easier when he could point out Meyer is a POS to his family.  Now that he is 'gone', and the result of the Game, we done.....

Round out the class with really good 3 stars!!! woo Hoo, well catch up to OSU in no time.

IT doesn't matter, Michigan needs to recruit like the big boys or accept that we will be in the second tier...

12/06/2018 - 11:20am I am failing to think of…

I am failing to think of another conference were protected rivalries are not a thing??  Dropping the Michigan Osu game would be the most foolish thing you could do, not only for any self respecting Michigan or osu fan, but also the Big Ten in general.  It the highest grossing game and most marketable game every season.  I can't imagine a season when Michigan goes 12-0 but does not play nor defeated MSU or OSU could be measured a complete success.

12/05/2018 - 2:37pm Really hope Poole and Iggy…

Really hope Poole and Iggy come back, they should want to climb into a lottery pick right?? haha

12/05/2018 - 2:31pm You cant have an honest take…

You cant have an honest take on here because if someone who honestly believes they think Meyer is a better coach, which his record and accomplishment suggest that he is, you will be negged to death.  If Urban Meyer was here I think we win at least 1 of 4 simply because his offenses are designed to score, score fast, and score a lot.  He is also an amazing recruiter, may due to have the $ recourses to do so.

However, with that said urban is a POS human being and I'd rather not follow college football than follow an Urban led Michigan team.

Just tuned in with about 4 to go, is there any particular reason Simpson is on the bench??

12/02/2018 - 2:56pm I think, at least hope, that…

I think, at least hope, that those clamoring about are looking at this in totality.  Michigan did not really face a tough schedule this year in terms of Defenses faced at least.  Only MSU and ND finished in the top 25 (14-22), against whom the offense struggled mightily.  Taking into consideration the struggle against Osu's 67th ranked D and NW 48th ranked D,  its obvious if you want to compete in todays college football you need to be able to put up points constantly against quality opponents, especially when they re putting points up vs you and Michigan has failed to do so.

However, I agree, 62 points is also completely unacceptable and we shouldn't ignore that either.  It is just I have much more confidence in Don Brown, Greg Mattison and Co. to adjust than I do the offense.

12/02/2018 - 11:06am Except, how many, we the…

Except, how many, we the fans, watch anything but Football and Basketball???  Maybe the occasional Hockey game?  Really its cool that Michigan is well rounded in athletics but from a 'Fans' perspective really does mean much.

The probability of him injuring his collar bone again is very high.

Hahaha.... come on are we really gonna claim that?

11/30/2018 - 6:00pm Both are exciting.  Dylan's…

Both are exciting.  Dylan's collarbone is a concern moving forward.  Joe Milton though is quite the prospect.  If he can develop into an accurate passer could be something really special.

I'm fine with being a basketball school!

11/29/2018 - 8:09pm A healthy balance maybe...??…

A healthy balance maybe...??

(A) Universities should never be required to pay athletes, that is asinine thinking and will only serve as the destruction of major college athletics, rather;

(B) allow players to earn off their own likeness and whenever gifted something they should be allowed to dispose of it as they please...$...The law is heavily on their side...

(C) If a kid thinks he is good enough to enter the pro's (Football or Basketball) at age 18 out of high school, allow them to make that decision with two caveats: 1) Once you enter the draft your NCAA eligibility is gone and 2) If you enter college you should be required to graduate with a DEGREE (novel thinking educate these young men) before you become eligible to enter any draft.

This will never happen it would require too much corporation on the part of the NCAA, NFL/NBA, and major universities.....

11/29/2018 - 6:45pm No the problem is schools…

No the problem is schools like Michigan dont need sports.  Major college sports is nothing more than advertising for these major universities.  They pull in just as much from government grants as they do sports, not to mention donations and of course TUITION.  Paying players makes absolutely NO fiscal sense for any major university and it will be the end of major college sports.

11/29/2018 - 6:41pm You point out 6 players lol…

You point out 6 players lol....Not even enough to field a squad.  But you're prolly right, those 6 unranked players honor play in the NFL makes a rule right?  Get real, its asinine of you to suggest stars dont matter.  I mean honestly, not a single team in the Big Ten competes with OSU on a year to year basis, we all recruit at a lower level.  Sure like ONE team a year might beat them, but as long as osu is pulling in 1/8th of the top recruits in the nation on a bi annual basis and the rest of the big ten pulls in maybe 10 top 100 recruits collectively they will also be the class of the Big ten.  Rest your laurels on average recruiting just dont complain anymore when we lose 15 of 16 and then 16 of 17 and then 18 of 19 vs osu.....

11/29/2018 - 6:36pm Expose it and thats the end…

Expose it and thats the end of major college sports.  There is not one major university that relies on the chump change sports bring in.  U of M brings in over a billion a year on tuition alone, while Sports profit about $2mil........

11/29/2018 - 12:50pm An outlier does not make a…

An outlier does not make a rule....11-1, shot at CFP every year does.  Im so tired of this debate, its not even a discussion any more, all the data we have collected suggest STARS do matter.  But if you feel good about ignoring factual evidence then so be it...

11/29/2018 - 12:46pm First, theres an average of…

First, theres an average of what 2-3 Oline taken each year in the 1st round, not sure thats a good sticking point for ROI.  IMO, a better comparison would be the rate of AA that are 3/4/5 stars, the rate ins which 3/4/5 are drafted overall, etc...  The whole notion stars dont matter for any specific position is silly as well. I understand it may be a more difficult position to predict; that's a fair statement.  But a 5 star is still likely to produce than a 2/3 star, at ANY position.  The top guys are already more talented and more athletic than the lower ranked guys.  Subjective data does not change that point, it has been discussed and proven to be true time and time again here.  I can point to many objective articles that would support my conclusion.

11/29/2018 - 12:12pm I mean I don't see how he is…

I mean I don't see how he is wrong?  Bama has two top 50 OT committed, small class, and only take like 3-5 3 stars a year.  Michigan might now have a guy who can spot and develop talent sure, but I'd rather he be develop 5 star talent than 3 star talent.  Stars matter, rankings matter, it is ignorant to say other wise.  Osu's, has 24 top 100 recruits over the past two years, and they proved stars matter last Saturday when our might 3 star army attempted to compete with them....(Michigan has 22 2/3 stars in that same time frame, only 6 top 100 recruits.)

11/28/2018 - 11:39pm Ok, point taken.  The…

Ok, point taken.  The offense they ran at times combined with the type of QB they have been recruiting the past few years would indicate more of a RPO type offense...'modern'...However, you cant argue both ways.  Clearly something is not right, the path to Big Ten Champ/CFP will ALWAYS go through Columbus, and for the foreseeable future they will be an elite team, I mean if a 'down' year is 11-1 and a shot at CFP...Harbaugh needs to recruit more athletic, better players.  He has his Jimmies and Joes, its year 4, 90-95% of this team is Harbaugh recruits, all main contributors are Harbaugh's guys, and if they aren't they've been with him for 4 years of a 5 year career.  Michigan under recruits the top contenders, OSU/Georgia/Bama/Clemson etc, until our proportion of 4/5 to 3 stars flips we wont compete vs the top dogs no matter what offense they run.  In the last two classes Osu had 24 top 100 recruits, that's 1/8th of the very best players in the country playing at Osu...compared to Michigan's 22 top ranked 2/3 stars...Michigan also had 6 top 100 players in the same time frame.

lol....get used to it, until we are able to compete with Osu, let alone beat them, we are only dreaming of anything else...

11/26/2018 - 12:17pm Why do write off what he…

Why do write off what he says?? He is right in every aspect.  Great we have 3 stars that end up contributing to beat up on the Big Ten, save for OSU.  MSU does the same thing, so does PSU and Wisconsin and yet the only school in the Big Ten to consistently bring in more 4/5 star talent than 3 star talent is the only school in the Big Ten that competes on a national stage.

11/26/2018 - 12:14pm I doubt Harrison wants…

I doubt Harrison wants anything to do with Michigan after Saturday.

11/25/2018 - 9:38pm Osu takes 3 films normally…

Osu takes 3 films normally...Sideline/Scoreboard/Endzone, the Jumbotrons at Michigan often show Don Brown "pre play".  Michigan runs play, Osu knows signal.  Osu had about 60% of Michigan sideline signals down, their Line and Qb had a very high probability of guessing what Michigan was doing each play.  Maybe a reason why Michigan's d line looked invisible yesterday?

11/23/2018 - 1:14pm Solid man.  The parallels…

Solid man.  The parallels are amazing and significant.  I really enjoy learning about the Great War 1.0 and the Great War that followed the Great War 1.0.  Never would have thought to put it in this context.

Yea he is visiting OSU lol... he hasn't committed or signed paper anywhere yet, Harrison could still literally end up anywhere.  That's probably why he is visiting.

Don't distract me from hating osu while my distraction of hating osu is distracting me from studying for Law Finals in two weeks!  I have big goals this week...

My ohio friends have asked why it can't it just be about football?....well....

You only pose that question when your program is a P.O.S.

11/18/2018 - 8:01pm If Michigan gives up 28 I…

If Michigan gives up 28 I doubt we win.  Can't afford to go down early, need to come out and strike. The Defense has more than enough depth this season to prevent a late game meltdown.  Just need to get it done.

11/17/2018 - 9:36am QB draft class is much…

QB draft class is much weaker this season than next.  If Shea does well these last couple of weeks it would be wise for him to take a risk and go.  Could he use another year to polish, yes obviously, but thats probably hard pill to swallow when he has two pro contracts waiting for him (MLB and eventually NFL)
