Keeping Up with Future Wolverines: Andrea Cerdan (Women's Tennis)
Paramus (NJ) Catholic High School, the school that brought Chris Partridge, Jabrill Peppers, Juwann Bushell-Beatty, Rashan Gary and Drew Singleton to the University of Michigan Wolverines football team, will be sending another athlete to Michigan next year – Andrea Cerdan, ranked sixth in the U. S. Tennis Association’s 18-and-under class and the nation’s 10th-ranked collegiate recruit in the Class of 2019. LINK
This past weekend, in an amazing comeback that had her down 4-6 and close to falling behind 1-5 in the second set, she won 15 of the next 16 points and won the large-schools, first-singles championship in the Bergen County, New Jersey Girls Tennis Tournament. It was her third first singles title during her four-year high school career. She did not compete in the tournament during her junior year. LINK

I know of no rule banning tennis posts, but no tennis posts, pretty please.

Why not? They have a more recent national championship than any of the sports that normally get coverage here. Probably the best coach at Michigan too.

Or you could just keep scrolling if you don't want to read it. I follow both men's and women's tennis and I appreciated the update.

I agree. I love posts about non-football or basketball sports, especially tennis. Thanks OP

Great post OP. Too bad the village idiots now populate the village almost entirely around here.
I’ll be starting to cover Michigan’s 29 other sports on TheBlueprintMichigan.com this week. Check it out there.

A little harsh there, WD. Yes, a very nice post by the OP, you got that part right. But you're way off base with your generalized assessment of the MGoBoard.

Are Tennis events like golf where there are multiple teams playing at once, or is it just once team vs. another up and down their lineups?

There are some tournaments involving multiple teams, but those are in the fall. During the spring season it is all team vs team until the NCAA tournament where individuals can advance without their team.
