Paramus (NJ) Catholic High School, the school that brought Chris Partridge, Jabrill Peppers, Juwann Bushell-Beatty, Rashan Gary and Drew Singleton to the University of Michigan Wolverines football team, will be sending another athlete to Michigan next year – Andrea Cerdan, ranked sixth in the U. S. Tennis Association’s 18-and-under class and the nation’s 10th-ranked collegiate recruit in the Class of 2019.  LINK

This past weekend, in an amazing comeback that had her down 4-6 and close to falling behind 1-5 in the second set, she won 15 of the next 16 points and won the large-schools, first-singles championship in the Bergen County, New Jersey Girls Tennis Tournament.  It was her third first singles title during her four-year high school career.  She did not compete in the tournament during her junior year. Are Tennis events like golf where there are multiple teams playing at once, or is it just once team vs. another up and down their lineups?
