We could play south carolina twice in the noncon. Has that ever happened before with any opponent?

Duke 10 years ago.

In this era of a thousand preseason tournaments it probably happens at least once a season where a pair of teams play twice in the non-conference.

Even stranger that the games would be less than 3 weeks apart.

Nice to see (relatively) fewer bottom dwellers on this year's schedule.

In part because we have 11 games instead of 13 because of the 20-game conference slate

Oooooh that Nova rematch.

And North Carolina. Arguably the two best programs in college basketball right now

Nova lost most of their team. We need to exact some revenge.

Eh, they lost a lot, but holy crap they still have alot of mad skilz as does NCU.

Jay Wright is the best coach in college basketball...playing Nova demands playing a good game or they will beat you.

Sooo, we could end up playing USC (ntusc) 2x in 3 weeks. Seems like a good idea.

Need to figure out how to squeeze LSU in to revenge all of our loses from last year.

My sister played college basketball at the NAIA level and they beat Binghampton. Hopefully, their men's program is better than their women's program.

'Nova and the Tar Heels are good early season gauges for how far this team can go. I'm not expecting much drop-off with this team. Last year's beginning was so rough because the team was unsettled at PG, and lacked an identity. Now, the PG and unquestioned leader is Zavier Simpson, and their identity is tough, hard-nosed defense, and efficient offense. The team will miss Wagner's offensive versatility, MAAR's do everything game, and Robinson's sharp shooting, but the roster has shooters and scorers who can replace the lost points. Additionally, the maturity of Poole and Livers, having been on a deep run in the tourney, will make for a smooth transition to the starting lineup. The expectations, from me, are for no less than a Sweet 16 run.
