Mostly-OT: Aaron Rodgers charity event
Last night, I got to attend a charity event during which Aaron Rodgers spoke and answered pre-submitted questions. His first question was “Who is the strongest leader you’ve ever known.”
His answer, without hesitation: Charles Woodson.
He talked for about five minutes about Charles and why he admired him, and it all clearly circled around Charles’s immense confidence. The way he addressed the press, the way he talked with his coaches, and the way he addressed his teammates all instantly commanded respect. It was great to hear such great things about such a great Michigan man from such a revered figure!
Unfortunately, later in the evening came “What was the greatest play you were ever a part of?” I immediately buried my face in my hand because I knew what was coming. Sure enough, “2015 in Deteoit.” The crowd roars. I groan.

That series of plays was so hilariously awesome. Finding new and creative ways to lose.
Who gives a damn about the stinkin' Lions?
Go Blue!

The phantom face mask lost them the game. They literally had it won.

Disagree, of course that didn't help, but the lions' consistent and chronic ineptitude lost them the game. SOL!!!

Did he also mention when he whined for a face mask on a play where his face mask wasn’t touched? Then got the call because the NFL doesn’t give two shits about their officials?

Aaron Rodgers response: “Hold this L”

I think bad refs take the L because they show their ignorance in regards to rules or they show their bias. (See OSU-Michigan 2016).

Way to ruin a great anecdote, Larry!
On the other hand, I've learned that that play has its own Wikipedia page. Same old Lions.

Of everything he accomplished and won, it's weird he would mention the Detroit play, especially because they had a similar play later in the season that had more meaning.

that sideline pass he had against the Cowboys was pretty wild.

Actors will often remember their greatest performance with great pride.

I was at that game and it was unbelievable. A fan of a normal team would be outraged at what happened. All I could do was laugh. It was SOL in epic fashion.

I hate the Green Bay Packers.

Like Illinois hates Michigan

Cool story, bro. Hate the Packers, being a tortured Lions fan all of these years, but both are Hall of Famers.

The Packers would've beaten NE in the super bowl in 2014 and 2016 if not for Seattle flukery and Kyle Shanahan...change my mind.
Gonna have a chance to take down lions fans second favorite team this year again. Hope the Lions enjoyed their two free wins last year courtesy of Hundley.
