(UNOFFICIAL) Chrome Michigan helmet
I don't know who this YouTuber is but he popped up on my feed. He built a mock-up of a chrome Michigan helmet. This is not sanctioned in any way by the school (as far as I know) so it's not happening in a game (as far as I know). It's just an interesting take on what a chrome Michigan helmet might look like, so I thought I'd share. Don't shoot the messenger.

The chrome gold on matte navy blue is terrible.
I think it looked alright..then again, I have poor taste...
I mean, it's not entirely horrible but not a fan... I am still in love with our flat blue! So thankful we made that change! Now shiny gold cleats that sh*t is nice...
I don't like the "glam" chrome effect.
I suppose there could potentially be a way to do a chrome helmet right...but this is not it. Really bad.

This helmet is stupid because it is using trendy paint techniques that became overused about 5 years ago. Why don't we try painting the wings in 1990s teal? That's still awesome, right?

This looks so stupid. The chrome maize is off and with a matte blue, it is sooooo ugly.
