2018-19 Michigan Night Game Update
you folks stay out of my barn, and no, you can't borrow it.
I was thinking Nebraska and Wiscy would be the prime candidates for night games. Once we get to November (PSU on 11/3), night games can get pretty chilly.
We'd have a progression of a nooner, 3:30pm, and 8pm kickoff for our first 3 home games if Nebraska is played at night. Tic-tac-toe.
I love night games. I get way more drunk watching at night because what else are you supposed to do on a Saturday night?
Yeah, but you have to remember that Jim Harbaugh never forgets, and who has gone out of their way to attack/humiliate Jim recently? James Franklin and Scott Frost. Jim would love to kick both of their asses on primetime TV, even if it's 45 degrees out.
I don't quite get the "ugly" MSU thing. Yeah their stadium IS the ugliest in the B1G - but I've gone to the last 2 games up there and I've personally endured worse fans at Purdue and IU. The only game that should NEVER be at night is the ohio game.
Go Blue!
Your experiences are best described by the term: outliers.
Why Nebraska? I mean, if it helps the team destroy them I'm all for it because I live in Omaha and want to lord a blowout over my co-workers like none-other.
Yeah, I was wondering this too. I would have expected Wisconsin over Nebraska for the night game, although given Minnesota was a night game last year I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.
Better buy your tickets now then
Why is PSU a new one for him? Was the Atomic Dog game in my imagination? I thought I was at that game.
I'll say it again:
90% noon games
10% 3:30 games
No more than one night game every two years.
Road games can do whatever they want.
Now get off my lawn!!!!
I understand your preference, but you are living in the past, bud.
I'm picturing Spartan faithful slinking out of the stadium into the dusk. The crunching of gravel as they slowly meander into the landfill night air. Later tuning in to hear Goerge Blaha describe how Harbaughs voice rang out...."Where are All the Spartans!?!"
Nebraska is a night game and plans are in place for PSU too.
Thank you sir!
I guarantee the MSU game will be a combination monsoon/blizzard after a sunny day with temperatures in the 70's.
No thanks. Glad I got rid of my season tickets.
Tickets?
Definitely hide the couches.
How did you embed the tweet? Or is that just a pic?
You can dislike night games but they objectively have a better atmosphere and are the only times the Michigan fan base even bothers to attempt to impact the game
