Minor's Somersault Run
I'm just curious if anyone has video (or knows where to get it) of Minor's ridiculous somersault run from yesterday where he flipped over completely and continued on for the first down. I was telling someone about it today and couldn't find it in a (admittedly short) search online.

I can't help you out but that run was insane. I couldn't believe it. Especially after the Stonum triple salchao.

Musberger completely ignored this crazy play. I was astonished and looking for a few replays but nothing was said and they just rolled right into one of their pre-planed stories or plugs.

I couldn't believe how the commentators missed that play. That was one of the best plays of they year and you would have never known listening to the play-by-play.

Yeah, I remember screaming something about it being the greatest run I'd seen this season.

Everyone seemed to think he was down for a second...if he'd gotten past that one guy he might have run for the touchdown. In which case it might have been a legendary play....so close

run was talking about how physical and tough the Iowa defense was. This was Minor's rage triumphing over Iowa's Angerer.

Only option is looking through the ESPN360 file or downloading the torrent. I thought I saw that it's already up on mgovideo.

I think its likely Brian includes it as one of those "lightbox" clips in the Offensive UFR

He manages to screw up Minor's name completely, but can't comment on an insane run.
Typical, I guess.

Travis Minor, that is.
Full credit though: unless I missed it, Tory Woolfork made no appearances yesterday.

was a good player during FSU's glory years - I'm sure Musberger was just having flashbacks to covering those Seminole games.

I believe Herbstreit referred to him as "Trey" a few times.

that damn announcer (who sounded hilariously similar to "Big Gay Al" of South Park) would announce Minor's run before the man even stopped running--the somersault play was but one of THREE PLAYS that he did this. It was, I thought, insulting.
The somersault play was amazing and should have gotten mad time on stupid sports shows. I have been able to stay away from all college football "wrap-up" shows since getting in from Iowa (Fucking) City two hours ago.

Great awareness by Minor to realize he was never down and kept going. He was hungry.
