MBB open thread vs. SC St.
I noticed there wasn't a thread put up yet, does anyone have a stream for this game?
Go Blue!!! I predict an 82-55 win.

77-42, 10 minutes to go. Here's the live stats if you can't watch a stream:

Walton with a nice pass

That dunk by Stauskas would've been a Game... Blouses.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:28 PM ^
Horford could get a double-double - already has 10 boards and seven points now.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:28 PM ^
I don't know why we didn't put the subs in 10 minutes ago.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:58 PM ^
That's crazy.

Horford is now Mr. Clean.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:29 PM ^
Horford is really improved.
Morgan may have regressed. Or maybe not regressed, but it kinda looks like Michigan's game is just a little too athletic for him now. He seems to be running hard just to keep up.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:33 PM ^
The offense has no need to go through him nearly as much as it used to. He used to be involved in a lot of pick and rolls and get some easy baskets off of those. His minutes have also decreased, of course. So he's not going to get many touches offensively. I think his defense and rebounding have been solid tonight, honestly. He's blocked two shots, which has to be some kind of career high.

Less touches for Morgan is a win for MBB. Dude can't dribble to save his life, hesitates and goes weak to the rim far too often.

a nice dish by Stauskas. He is more than just a shooter, you guys

STst player with the floor slap. LOL.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:34 PM ^
Lol the ESPN front page for CBB article is centered on UK, despite their 15 point halftime deficit, saying "MSU is far from defenseless".
Well, no shit, it appears they're dominating them.
Ed: Floor slaps are tacky.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:36 PM ^
Scheduling Kentucky the first week of the season was a good idea for MSU. They get a "signature win" against a team that isn't that good right now, but probably will be later on, helping their RPI.

Time to bring in the backups, the starters are done.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:37 PM ^
Not a great last 5 minutes
November 12th, 2013 at 8:38 PM ^
I hope Horford comes back in and gets that double-double. He's sitting on 9 and 15.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:38 PM ^
But Walton still out on the floor. Smart. He needs the time.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:38 PM ^
Yeah, bout time they sat Robinson. All he's done all half is look to make a highlight reel play. Let the game come to you, man. Balls.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:44 PM ^
Pretty sure our backups would lose to SCst.

this is a fun program to watch, I'm so glad it's ours!
November 12th, 2013 at 8:53 PM ^
I remember watching Beilein's WVU teams in the tournament and thinking, "Man that team is fun to watch. I wish we were like that." And now we are (only with even better players). It's awesome.
November 12th, 2013 at 8:56 PM ^
I wish Beilein would have settled the guys down in the second half and gotten them to work on the inside game. That in game practice will be important when they go cold against a better team. I guess I just have to be resigned to the fact that a Beilein team is going to keep shooting the 3 no matter how bad a streak they're on. I'm pretty surprised he didn't pull GR3 sooner though as well. He reverted to street ball in the second half trying to make a highlight reel play every time he touched the ball. That's not helpful in a game like this.

Holy crap... what happens when we get this guy back?
At that point, do we go from Balls to full fledged big boy testes?
