Fuck this shit. Seeing our regular home uniforms in a big game would feel like a throwback at this point. Michigan: where the official throwback uniforms were never used before and the home uniform feels like a throwback.

Well, better scalp my pair of tickets because we can't watch Michigan football if they are in a different home uni. I just don't get the lament, DB has done great things for Michigan and I don't think an alternate uniform or two a year is terrible. Now, if it becomes NASCAR uniforms out there, then we panic.

You just said "I don't think an alternate uniform or two a year is terrible," which is exactly why so many are up in arms. Sure, it's not terrible, but it's not great. Our regular uniforms ARE great, so what's the point? Alternate uniforms for the team who already has what is widely considered one the best jerseys in all of sports is just a pointless money grab. We sure as hell don't need gimmicks to market ourselves, and we're perfectly fine at attracting recruits without this nonsense. I'm not going to scalp tickets over this, but I'm certainly annoyed by it.

We gave up our home uniforms (the best unis in CFB) in last year's bowl game for an abomination. Now, we give them up again AT HOME?!!!

This is BS, if true.

MDen just put these on its website a few days ago, so I wonder if this is the jersey change. The patch is a replica of Harmon's license plate. I think it's an interesting idea, but the jersey will look super cluttered with all the other patches on it (Legends patch, B1G patch, manufacturer's patch, etc.).

I’m not crazy about alternate jerseys, but I think this is something we are just going to have to come to terms with.  Love it or hate it, this is the current landscape of college football.
