Det. News feature on Darboh and Chesson
Good article about Darboh and Chesson and their roles at Michigan. Really pulling for both of these kids, they seem like two examples of what makes Michigan football truly great.

Living in Iowa, I have a soft spot for Darboh. He seems like a great kid, and he seems like he realizes the privilege he has to play for Michigan.

Being African, I have a soft spot for both of them and was ecstatic when both of them committed. It'll be great to see them play together and excel in this offense.

It would really be nice if one or both of these guys steps up this season and becomes a deep threat.

Everyone (including Brian) keeps talking about Chesson being too small at 196, and yet is considerably larger than Adrian Arrington was in his 4th year. If he is truly as fast as everyone says I think he could make an impact as a third wideout this year.

Him playing as a third WR would be phenomenal in an ace set.. Green/toussaint funchess gallon darboh chesson. Speed size and scary for a match up.
How do you cover funchess here without giving up the run? Better hope your LB has height and athleticism.

At the beginning of August, at least if this is correct, the hype was already building around Chesson. He was singled out by not only Hoke but Gardner and Gallon as well. Here's what Jeremy Gallon said back in March:
"Jehu, in one-on-ones, he’s just flying by people with his speed. Doing all these amazing things. You can tell he’s learning."
From the sound of things, of course, both Darboh and Chesson will be a vital part of the vertical aspect of Michigan's offense going forward.

I think he's bigger than Avant was. I can't wait to see him blocking some CB's into the ground, as well as catching some long passes. But, both these guys having good seasons are key to Michigan having a successful season IMO. They give us a lot more size compared to the 2 more experienced seniors Dileo and Gallon, thereby making better matchups in some situations.

football players with a lot of potential on the field. They both come from very families, they are grounded, focused on both football and academics. I really with the the best, both on and off the field.
Here is a nice little interview with Jehu:

I think they are both a buy now stock. I expect great things from our WRs this year.
