I probably won't watch any of their games now, I hadn't planned to, but I definitely won't now.

I might get flak for this, but I like these a lot.  Why?  Because just putting "DALLAS" on the front of the jerseys is stupid.  This is hockey, not baseball.  Look like it.  And for the record, I hated the big ugly star-shaped striping pattern of the early-mid 2000s just as much.  Green, gold, and black was a cool color scheme, but after they ditched the North Star N, they always had one of the lamest logos in hockey.  And the Dallas Stars looked their best in the mid-90s when they carried over the last-couple-years North Stars look - which was worse than the original look.  When you've been sliding downhill for that long in the uniforms department, it's time for a shakeup.

I would like these if it was a new team coming into the league.  But why is Dallas changing their logo?

Doesn't make sense.    The day Detroit starts toying with the Winged Wheel or the Old English D, that will be a sad sad sad sad day.   I was partially pissed when they made adjustments to the Lion's logo and when they tried changing the PIstons logo/colors.

Not necessary people!

It looks like they tried way too hard on the logo. Why did they have to go for the 3D/shadow effect on it? It looks like shit. Take away that and replace it with something more classic-looking and I'd actually like them.

I actually like them. Most of these new-fangled uni changes are ugly...but I like these. I think these kind "pop" to the eye. Reading above I'm in the minority but I think these stand out (and I guess I like the getting rid of the gold)

I feel like I've seen this before on Microsoft Word '98 clip art. Boo. Dallas really needs to change their name and allow the Wild to buy back their identity. Bring back the NorthStars!

It took awhile to figure it out, but the sizing of the D within the star makes it look like a spur, which is fine for a Texas team (though San Antonio might be a little up in arms). If that's what they were going for, I grudgingly give them some credit. If not, I'm clearly experiencing an ink blot moment

Loved the last generation of Stars jerseys, but I think these are an improvement from the current ones.  In NHL 13, I always make Dallas wear their old jerseys or the north stars jerseys even.  Nothing will ever beat the Detroit whites, Chicago reds, or Rangers blues though.  Honestly, I do kinda miss the old mighty duck jerseys too.

But the while effort is decent. I can see the point about the old unis being a bit dark, which is sort of a fad hangover from the 90s. The logo is pretty gneneric and could be for anything, but most classic logos dont have an idea of the sport on them.

Why are so many teams trying to design uniforms that very small children might think are great, but make everyone else want to vomit?

Bad move by the stars. For some reason hockey looks best in boring unis, the ducks, blue jackets, even the caps, wild, and coyotes look too modern for the NHL
