Brian, Seth or Mods in the know...HTTV Info Please
I am posting this because I have seen the question asked on the two previous threads with no answers to speak of 9and the questions are burried now as a result). Once answered you can delete the thread if you like, but there are at least a few of us interested in this information:
Are you really not offering shipping the HTTV magazines to Canada this year or is that just an oversight? I ask because I was able to get it last year but this year it doesn't offer shipping to Canada as an option. This would be pretty bad news for me as I have never found the magazine in any stores near me here in Canada and last year was my first opportunity to get it, and I loved the product.
Please let us Canadians know when you get a chance. Thanks!
an e-version would even work for me.
I'll see what I can do about Canadian shipping. The reason it's not on the kickstarter is because we're saving a TON vs last year by keeping the magazine within the weight limits of USPS and thus being able to use their standard parcel envelope. Last year shipping it anywhere like a normal package ended up costing as much as everything we made after the kickstarter, or 2/3rd of the profits.
If I have to, I'll come visit Toronto for a day this summer with a box of magazines and we'll have a Stauskus party or something.
But let me get an answer on shipping to canada.
Let us know what you find out. Much appreciated my friend!

Answer is YES. If you buy on the kickstarter we will ship to Canada no extra fee or anything. I'll have Brian write an official update.
If not Canada but still foreign let me know I'll probably be able to work something out and if we can't I'll send you a digital edition.
Thanks a lot Seth. Hitting up kickstarter as I type!
Edit: Still not up for Canada yet. I will be impatiently waiting on the edge of my seat...j/k about the impatiently part....I think.
Can't wait for July! Thanks for your help with this Seth!
If you go, take subs. You know why.
This would rely on people to read instructions, but can you tell people to just donate $5 more if they live in Canada, e.g. donate $20 and then select the $15 option? The alternative to that is to make options available for Candians which are an extra $5, but that would clutter up the option list a bit.
There are other countries where people live that aren't Canada. Remember when mgoblog was the #1 Michigan site on the central Asian steppe? You spelled Stauskas wrong.

I did. In answer we'll get HTTV to people wherever on Earth. Guys in Space are screwed.
I'd drive to Toronto for such a party... I am closer (Hamilton), so if it helps Blue (and is cheaper), you can ship two to me and I'd ship it off to him through Canada Post.
Thanks for the offer my friend! Hopefully they will find a way to just ship them though.
Hamiltonian?! Sweet!
You might as well label it HTTV '14, cause that's when it's going to arrive.
There are quite a few us in the T. that would entertain a visit - I believe the tigers are up here in the summer. Let us know.
I'd donate more if need be. In Montreal, Toronto is not really an option.
But would absolutely love the mag again this year.
