OT- Friday Night Drinking Thread!
It's Friday night and it's been a few weeks, so here's your drinking thread. Trying a Barrel Trolley IPA. Not bad, but nothing special. Looking forward to hearing what you guys are having...
Also, what are your key thoughts for tomorrow, other than the obvious HIT YOUR THREES. I believe Hardaway must attack at the high post and we need to get GRIII touches off movement on the short baseline.
Going hipster with the Oberon. Go blue, kick 'Cuse's ass.
What is wrong with a little Mumford & Sons during a twilight drive?
So you're one of those.
Hipster would be naming off some no name microbrew that no one cares about (not one of the most famous ones) while also mentioning how Oberon is overrated and got ruined when "everyone" started drinking it.
Purple drank. Imma grip and sip.
Thought for the team tomorrow? Have fun, and realize that you only need to play really well (as opposed to perfect) to win. This is your moment, cherish it, but first and foremost have fun on the court.
I'm going to a nice beer bar in town tonight. I'm not sure what I'm going to enjoy--perhaps a nice Hefeweizen to celebrate the onset of the spring weather.
Buffalo Gold, imported by Subaru from glorious Boulder.
As soon as I get home. I don't know which one yet, but I will keep you advised.
I found some Imperial Stout from Left Hand Brewing and I am sipping on that. It has a fairly appropriate name for a southpaw like me, but it actually is a pretty good stout.
I'd also recommend their Milk Stout as well. I had it on tap (nitro) last night, and it was delicious.
First time having it, and I'm thoroughly impressed.
great change of pace drink.
...12 year Talisker...tasty Islay.
I'm a Lagavulin devotee, but I have fond memories of the bottle of Talisker I got a couple of years ago. After this bottle's gone I may switch it up just for variety's sake.
Because Michigan beers bring Michigan victories... (or so goes the plan)
was telling Juwan Howard he was going to go on the Cosby show, only to crush his dreams later
(b/c it lifted us against kansas) cabo wabo silver tonight, tomorrow, and monday...i'm screwed
Chivis. Nervous. Beat Cuse.
i'm still at work!
Boddington's Pub Ale while I make some pretty good Sloppy Joes ... a recipe from Diner's Drive-Ins and Dives.
Right now a Nantucket Nectars half and half. Later beer. I'm inspired by the woman I saw outside of Mobil on the Run drinking a Corona and hanging out with her pit bull. Although I must say I will choose a better beer.
Raison D'Etre. At 26 years old, this is my first Dogfish Head of any variety. I lead a sheltered life.
And it may be the reason why I have avoided Dogfish Head for so long. I am not an IPA guy. I've tried many, but I just can't find any that I like.
Trying to drown out all the haters down here in Auburn Alabama by drinking some of The Glenlivet 12. Getting tired of those saying they are rooting for Syracuse because their colors match. GO BLUE!
I'm saying cheers to Syracuse disrespecting us, the media disrespecting us, the Tourny officials for under-ranking us, and ESPN and Jay Bilas for disrespecting us! The haters can't stop Trey and the team. They're going to shock the world! These guys are ballers!
