for football?
Needs a better headline.
Needs better everything
I'm thinking 12-2 this year. Losing to Alabama and someone else we probably shouldn't lose to, but making the big ten champ game, going to the Rose Bowl. Denard goes into beast mode in his farewell game and we escape with a narrow victory.
yes for football
any idea how they are going to sell msu tickets? i'm assuming 4 or 3 game packs, and prolly slim chance of making it to public
weird that you posted this.. I was just trying to find a date on mgoblue.com that they go on sale. I checked my email and noticed I purchased them on July 18th last year, so was wondering what the heck was going on. THANKS! Last year they had a promo code that let you buy them a few days earlier, if someone sees that please post it.
i didn't get those details but you gotta assume a 3 or 4 pack for MSU
i can only make air force 4 tickets and iowa 2 tickets if somebody bought a msu 4 pack but wanted to sell tix for those games id be down ....that way you dont get stuck with a full 4 pack
now if I can only get the wife to let me float 1200 bucks for a 4 ticket 4 pack....(only want to go to msu and 1 other game....)
ticket spreadsheet is your friend. Used it many times to both buy and sell to great success.
I sent an e-mail to the athletic department asking about my points and I received this back just a few minutes ago.. "You will have your updated priority points in time to have priority on tickets and ticket packs-- not to worry! They do not go on sale until July 23." Interesting?
Last year there were two different dates, one for when ticket packs went on sale. The other was when individual tickets went on sale.
There's also different dates for when the public has access to buy tickets and when priority point brackets have the ability to buy tickets (both individual and ticket packages).
I sent an e-mail today as well asking the same thing, also was asking if my seat change request got accepted. I doubt it will because my priority points are not in the 100's. But we will find out hopefully soon.
Yes I'm replying to my own post. But I just got e-mailed back, my request went through (for those that care). Also, they told me since I'm a Victors Club member that I can buy individual or packages on July 24th. I don't know if that is dependent on priority points or not.
Sad Panda: dont think I will be buying a ticket pack this year with the shitty home game schedule. I had a hard enough time last year getting rid of tickets to the non con's and knowing that I will only be able to make it to 1 home game it just doesnt seem worth the effort.
On the flip side: I'm going to 'Bama sooo yea
...any word on when those tickets will be mailed out???
I was told last week that it would be mailed out the week of July 23.
Are these for all games? Or just Home football games?
The reason I ask is that I am trying to find 4-6 Michigan State tickets for a group of friends...
Also: looking for 4 Tickets to the Bama game for my girlfriend and her family (we missed our student tickets to try and go with our families)
I hope you're willing to spend a lot of $$ for the Bama tickets
Most of the time they're just home games. They do offer away game tickets every once and a while. I'm going to guess that MSU won't be one of the tickets that ends up being publicly available (those are probably mostly spoken for already or will be bought by ticket holders before they reach public sale). Not to mention trying to get 4-6 together.
Bama tickets have been sold out through the athletic department for months. Those were on sale a while ago.
Stubhub is probably your best option at this point for either; although that's going to set you back a bit.
packs july 23, individuals july 27
How many times will I be shown on TV per game? Over/Under 3.5
Here I come, Air Force! Optionball forever!
How do the student tickets for non-students work?
They check MCards at the gate, so if you're a non student who does not have an MCard, then you'll need to get it validated, which can get pricey. I believe it's usually between 25 and 65 dollars a game, depending on how big of a game it is (around 65 for MSU this year, and 25 for a game like Mass)
so if i were to go to the MSU game, it would be 65 PLUS the price of admission? dang that would be kinda pricey...
Students get football tickets at a discounted rate. About $30 for every game. If you are not a student then you have to validate the tickets to a value that others are paying. For example, if UMass is originally a $60 ticket, then the validation sticker will cost $30 on top of the $30 that was paid for the ticket. The game for MSU is probably an $85 ticket, so the validation fee will be $55 on top of the $30 that was paid for the ticket.
