I guess they thought they could beat Purdue by just showing up? Maybe we'll stop waxing poetic about Zak and Stu and get back to focusing on basketball.

It happens. Shots just not falling and not a lot of energy on defense. I'm sure Stu and Novak are pissed, but this isn't the last game of the season and I see this firing us up for the next two games and a strong B10 tourney run and NCAA tourney run.

Purdue deserves to win this game. They out-played, out-physicaled, and just out-coached us. Its not really surprising, considering Purdue's tournament hopes are on life-support and they need a signature win. Its no wonder they're going to leave everything on the court and pull out all the stops against us.

Still, this is senior night, and Michigan just came out with zero energy. There's no excuse for that.

Tip of the hat to Purdue, though. They deserve to win, and another B1G team in the tourney makes the conference look that much better.

Yes, yes I see it now....a signature road win for Purdue in a seemingly home atmosphere. Or neutral site I suppose, take your pick. But as I've said all along, in my eyes there was lack of intensity (or electricitiy) throughout this whollllle game. Needed some kind of catalyst (i.e crowd)

Let's keep jacking up threes and expect to win games. We were lucky to come out with a win against NW and now this. They hedged the screens all game and we never made one adjustment to it. Hopefully we can pull out of this offensive slump we look to be in.

I've attended Michigan football games where I've been surrounded by old rich alumni. Sure they'll buy tickets, but they hardly do more than sit there and consume oxygen. Many choose not to sing the Victors, let alone complete a simple 3-word cheer that I like to call Let's Go Blue.

On the other hand, they won't waste a second to critique the team's performance in-game. Keep in mind I'm not targeting all old rich alumni, just those who don't arrive with the spirit to cheer their team onto victory.

I'm getting so wasted. This team will be alright. This hurts our seeding. All but kills our championship hopes, but this team plays well as dogs. I would have just liked a banner.

The crowd looked lame as fuck..  gave zero energy to the team.  THJ continues to be terrible in making shooting decisions.  This team decides to try to win again by 3, after the pathetic shooting at NW

Lets not overreact. Losing sucks, especially when its a game you should win at home on senior night but we have had a very good season so far and we have a great future. GO BLUE!!

Probably staring down 12-6 or better, 4 or better tourney seed, top 3 in the league. Considering our main gun really had a slump in the league, this has been a great year so far.

The goal is still to be standing on weekend 2 of the tournament. Maybe I am alone, but I never pictured this team winning the league this year, so this near miss is a bonus.

To win in a league like this your main guy has be at his best. Green has been for State.

Play great D. Work for good shots. Play smart. Take threes in the right situations. If you launch threes all night you deserve to get crushed at home. Hardaway is years away from the NBA. After Novak a true Freshman is carrying the team.

Had a lot more to play for and it showed. Shame that we had to blow a perfect home record and any chance of reg season championship. This isn't exactly a good road team either so I'm concerned about the next two.
