These shots need to fall... so close
January 29th, 2012 at 1:48 PM ^
Hardaway and Smotrycz really just need to stop shooting threes. I beg you.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:49 PM ^
You seem to really hate this team
January 29th, 2012 at 1:50 PM ^
Smotty has hit 2 threes, why the hell should he stop?
January 29th, 2012 at 1:50 PM ^
I agree with you on THJ but Smotrycz is a good three-point shooter. He's been in a slump but he's 1-2 today.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:49 PM ^
All right some of you guys need to take a chill pill! This is an away game in a hostile environment against the Evil Empire, the guys are a little wired and this is the the college basketball version of a knife fight...
January 29th, 2012 at 1:50 PM ^
This was a really good half for our squad
January 29th, 2012 at 1:49 PM ^
January 29th, 2012 at 1:50 PM ^
Smot just got grabbed when he pump faked... no foul?
January 29th, 2012 at 1:50 PM ^
what the hell was that??
January 29th, 2012 at 1:50 PM ^
So glad we haven't sold naming rights to our arena.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:51 PM ^
End of 1st, 24-21 the bad guys.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:54 PM ^
Sucks we're down but a 3 point deficit is nothing that can't be made up...
January 29th, 2012 at 1:51 PM ^
These possesions at the end of a half are the worst ever.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:51 PM ^
Why do we suck on last possessions of halves? Out of a timeout, even!
January 29th, 2012 at 1:51 PM ^
The way Rafferty is slobbering all over the hairless nuts you would think we were losing by 30.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:51 PM ^
That last possession was a clusterfuck. And not the good kind.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:51 PM ^
Brushed off Burke twice in that possession.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:51 PM ^
We missed some opportunities, but kept the ball away from Sullinger, rebounded well, and generaly took god shots. Gona have to have another half just like it and then some.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:54 PM ^
you must be watching a different game
January 29th, 2012 at 1:51 PM ^
hurt a bit right now.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:51 PM ^
Overall VERY proud of this team in the first half. A few costly mistakes, but we're very much in this game. Go Blue!
January 29th, 2012 at 1:58 PM ^
than without him being in there; he better not get into foul trouble...
January 29th, 2012 at 1:52 PM ^
about basketball, but M does not look overmatched at the moment
January 29th, 2012 at 1:52 PM ^
These announcers make me want to throw a brick through my window. STFU already.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:52 PM ^
And this places blows up? Must be a big game, eh?

24-21. Could be better, could be worse. McGary can't arrive soon enough.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:55 PM ^
"eat".
January 29th, 2012 at 1:57 PM ^
Good overall. Could be better on shot % we've missed some great chances for big points. Shocked Hardaway couldn't put that breakaway layup in. If we keek playing man to man we can wear down Ohio. Playing tough keep it up! GO BLUE!
January 29th, 2012 at 1:53 PM ^
Not a bad first half on the road against a #4 team. However, need to stop the turnovers to be able to win this one. Craft is playing epic defense on Burke right now. Burke's playing good defense as well, but whoever wins that battle will win this game.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:54 PM ^
I think Burke has played pretty good so far. He had a run of about a min where he was a bit out of control, but he got back under control.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:54 PM ^
But he's not the savior people are making him out to be. I think even having Horford would make a difference in this game.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:56 PM ^
He is known to be a good rebounder. It is pretty clear that we need lots of help on both the offensive and defensive glass right now.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:57 PM ^
It's just a big body with some actual talent so we can stop watching the other team play volleyball over our heads on rebounds.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:55 PM ^
Shooting looks about even, Michigan is slightly better but still not great with the 3's. Turnovers and passing are still problematic. I think there is a lot of good things we can build on in the second half. It's nice to be competitive on the road.
January 29th, 2012 at 1:55 PM ^
January 29th, 2012 at 1:56 PM ^
Not having Horford hurts more than people think. We really need some depth there. Also, how did we hold OSU to 24 pts? Great defense
January 29th, 2012 at 2:04 PM ^
Agreed. This type of game favors Michigan. OSU lives on runs and high-scoring and the turnovers that fast-paced ball creates.

I really wish Beilein would keep Morgan in until he fouls out, that frustrates me
January 29th, 2012 at 1:58 PM ^
We hit three's and we're going to win it. Also, I think we have fewer turnovers in the 2nd half and get to the line. We pull it out 60-57
January 29th, 2012 at 2:04 PM ^
weren't we like the first team ever to win a ncaa tourny game w/o making a free throw? i wouldn't mind a repeat here.
January 29th, 2012 at 2:07 PM ^
Maximum grit road win.

January 29th, 2012 at 2:03 PM ^
That dude should have gotten a technical foul on that...
January 29th, 2012 at 2:06 PM ^
Agreed. There should be a technical for flops.
January 29th, 2012 at 2:04 PM ^
I love RVB

I <3 RVB

Is he hurt or just not playing well? Perhaps I'm thinking he's taller than he really is but I thought he was primed to lift his game to another level...perhaps I'm thinking his game is better than it really is, I don't know...
January 29th, 2012 at 2:05 PM ^
Lol @ CC lifting his game.
