The "Brady Hoke poops gold" tag.
September 11th, 2011 at 1:43 PM ^
it's "poops magic," but point taken.
September 11th, 2011 at 2:37 PM ^
How about we upgrade it to "magic gold"?
September 11th, 2011 at 7:37 PM ^
ran their ads with the guy emitting gold coins during game. Very fitting.

Zak wylde (ozzy's former guitar player) pic please (iPhone)

<br>If i was a college football stud and had a long NFL career, i think I would go be a crazy hermit and show up on the sidelines of huge games too.

I was wondering who that was. Now it all makes sense.
September 11th, 2011 at 1:51 PM ^
EDIT: Nevermind - thanks to the guy who posted immediately before I did for the info.
Anyone who who the guy in the last picture is? He was right next to Hoke when they were interviewing Hoke at the end of the game. And of course, because of the crazy hair and facial hair, I've been dying to know who he was ever since. Thanks.

I'd just like you all to know that the I'm the dude rocking the French Braids in pictures 1 and 3. That is all.
September 11th, 2011 at 1:52 PM ^
that's a guy?
September 11th, 2011 at 2:02 PM ^
The beard's a little thick for a girl, no?
September 11th, 2011 at 2:22 PM ^
she has a very prominent Adam's apple. This reminds me of this one night in Marquette...
September 11th, 2011 at 4:41 PM ^
Another fun fact: I'm from Marquette. I feel like we shouldn't delve into your Marquette story any more. Things might get weird.
September 11th, 2011 at 2:39 PM ^
Where she's from...
September 11th, 2011 at 2:45 PM ^
Some other parts of the conference we might not be so sure.

that's a guy?

The girl on your left front behind zoned dude?

We've had other great comebacks (Virginia in '95, Minnesota in '03 come to mind among others) but I can't think of one in which we played so poorly on both sides of the ball for so much of the game. We could not contain Floyd. We had virtually no pass rush at all from our DL, with no sacks. Their running game consistently gashed us for big yards up the middle, while we had no running game whatsoever besides Denard. We threw three picks. We had no kick return game that amounted to anything. Overall, Denard had a sub-par day throwing the ball, but part of that was due to our receivers still dropping catchable balls.
We did it with chewing gum, baling wire, duct tape, gorilla glue, six feet of rope, a couple of two-by-fours, a nail gun, and finished it off with a lead pipe upside the head of Notre Dame.

It was the MacGyver win?
September 11th, 2011 at 1:58 PM ^
All I could think about through the first 3 quarters was that Michael Floyd shouldn't be allowed to play in this league because it's not fair to the other kids. It's like when there's that one kid good enough to play with 14-year olds but who's in a 10-year old league for some reason.

"They can throw out all those great backs, and great quarterbacks, and great defensive players, throughout the country and in this conference, but there's gonna be one Team that's gonna play solely as a Team. No man is more important than The Team. No coach is more important than The Team. The Team, The Team, The Team."

God is trying to tell Notre Dame football something.
That something is "I hate you."
September 11th, 2011 at 2:15 PM ^
I think the see-saw nature of the game is what really sets it apart for me. Braylon taking out MSU is the only game I can think of with comparable momentum shifts.

Steve Everitt, former NFL O-Lineman and Wolverine

And one hell of a good football player. Unfortunately, his barber has moved out of town and Mr. Everitt has been able to find anyone to fill the void.

Also, I love how the second video is a TV being rewound and replayed in real time.

where have you gone Lloyd Brady? Michigan nation turns its lonely eyes to you.
September 11th, 2011 at 3:20 PM ^
AHHHHH DENNIS BERGKAMP!!!
September 11th, 2011 at 3:30 PM ^
I hate to be that guy but your shot of Denard(second picture) was in a moment of pure frustration for him....not excitement. Your sequence would mean to show it as a good feeling picture when it was actually the exact opposite....I think after his 3rd pick. The only reason I know that is because I turned to my brother and told him that I have never seen Denard react that negatively before.(look at Hopkins' eyes...he is clearly worried)
I know this could be looked at as trolling, but I just want to keep the high levels of journalistic integrity here.
September 11th, 2011 at 3:36 PM ^
I thought the same thing too.
September 11th, 2011 at 7:31 PM ^
It was after his 1st pick.....but who cares. What a fun win!

Irish" events in past games (missed UM field goals, head wind suddenly stops blowing on ND game winning field goal, some speedy guy runs back 2 kicks, etc), these last 3 ND games makes it feel like the winds of good fortune have turned. ND fans & players have got to be feeling a little snake bit lately.
September 11th, 2011 at 7:14 PM ^
As long as we're identifying mystery-people, after Denard came back onto the field and did his interview with ESPN, he then was talking to a brunette wearing the Michigan throwback jersey, jeans, and knee high brown boots and some other guy dressed in normal clothes. Best I could come up with was some kind of Michigan athletic dept media, or maybe Big Ten Network? Who were they? After talking to Denard they went over into the end zone and a camera crew was filming them as well.

looked like he was having a "good time". Rock star

Was on the sidelines for probably every single game in 2003 and 2004 when I was an equipment manager for the team. I'm guessing he has been ever since, as well.
