I wonder how long it will be until Missouri is looking for a new basketball coach?  A lot of people were surprised when Haith was hired.  I don't think they can keep him with these allegations.  Allegedly aware of a 10K payout and hanging in the strip clubs with a felon.  It will be interesting to see how Missouri hoops recruiting is going.

What really screws UM is that the witness against them, Nevin Shapiro, has to legally tell the federal prosecutors the truth about everything or his plea deal was off the table. That's a whole lot more reliable than a tattoo parlor owner who deals weed on the side. Especially since Shapiro documented almost everything since he was the CEO of an investment firm.

I can't believe he thought these players were real friends of his. Of course they're not going to pay bail for a guy who bought them hookers in college. They have families now and have millions and are legitimate. This guy is delusional.

When old man Eichorst asked how long his football team had to be locked up, the NCAA said:

Lost in all this is that new Miami men's basketball coach Jim Larranaga, like Al Golden, left a pretty good situation at George Mason with a potential top 25 team and other BCS schools knocking on his door to walk into this mess.

Does anyone know if there is any precedent for these guys to be let go if it turns out Miami was witholding any info regarding the investigation from these coaches upon their hiring?
