When I was in school, Pizza House was a dumpy frame building with a only a few tables inside. One of my roommates worked there and she would bring home bags of all the chipatis that didn't turn out right and chipati sauce. We lived on the stuff. I must say, the original chipati was better than the one Pizza House serves now. Just my opinion.
around the same time. I remember walking in to Pizza House through a rickety screen door at night and half the employees were sitting stoned on a stairwell to the side.
As they, Gumby's and Omega (the latter two now long gone) were the only ones open late, we didn't have much choice at 3:00am as everyone scrounged their pockets. I think the one genius of Pizza House that differentiated was the late night milkshake. In hindsight, a milkshake at 4 in the morning after a long night of drinking was not the wisest move.
South U Pizza (new last year I think) crushes Backroom. I used to be loyal to Backroom, but goddamnit, South U Pizza is just sooooo fucking good.
And stop by MO MO Tea for a boba milk tea afterward.
just tweeted that he's also hearing that, not only is kalis a silent commit, but that he's been vocal about trying to convince other OSU commits to join him. just fyi.
was a RT from @wyliemac. ozone tweet was last week.
I'd be ecstatic if he could get that Dunn.
What are the chances Kalis is just a silent commit and remains as such in the coming months? I know that all of us would love a commitment from him, but would it not be in Kalis's best interest to hold off from that in order to stop potential Ohio airheads from making his life hell. If I were in his shoes I feel like that would be a genuine concern of mine.
I would actually be quite concerned with that were I Kalis. Especially if he's followed any of the discussion on Bucknuts, etc. If he actually declares Blue he's going to take a lot of crap for it, but at the same time, I think any vitriol directed his way would probably only reaffirm his decision that OSU is not the fan base he wants behind him.
its hard to pick on a 300lb beast manchild
It kills me the way that tOSU fans are treating him...he is a 17 year old kid trying to make one of the most important decisions of his life and they are treating him like he burnt down the shoe. All teams get decommits, but damn, are they a jilted psycho lover or what?
People who are in the know and not named Ace have all said he is not a silent commit. Those same people have also said though that while they don't know when Kalis will make a decision, it probably won't drag out. Hence why him visiting again with his whole family is a really good sign.
I thought I had read that his Dad wasn't with him this time. I could totally be wrong so would appreciate clarification. If his dad were with them I would think a commit is more likely than without him.
Fair question, I'm not sure if his dad will be there or not. IIRC he lives in Pennsylvania and was visiting Kalis the first time they came up. Don't know if he'd be there today or not. But at least most of his family should be there...

I believe he just wants his Mom to experience "The Michigan Difference:. He's Not worried about bucknuts! tsio fans are just MOTIVATION. GO BLUE!!!!!
It would be nice to see magnuson and kalis playing next to each other on the line for years to come.
Hail yes.
If Kalis does commit I hope tsio fans would be gracious especially since it would further hurt the program they support if they give a recruit trouble for the decision made.
It certainly is amazing how different the prevailing attitude on this site is from half a year ago. From schadenfreude to golden poop. Who'd have thought it.
Can Kalis play Guard and Tackle?
He can probably play either, but I remember reading that he has relatively short arms for a tackle and might be better suited to just be a beast of a guard.
land Kalis and Diamond like I'm hoping/thinking we might, then guard makes sense for Kalis considering his body type and that we'd already have Diamond (never mind my presumptions), Magnuson, and Braden.
Thanks Guys.
to has a happy
oh and we are gonna need that right tackle (diamond ) in the future too. I heard this lefty qb is coming to michigan:)
if we get Kalis this week.. I will.... oh man i dont even know.. what the hell could i do?! I may just burst open from the inside.
How the spartans think kyle kalis commiting to michigan will make them the favorite for diamond.
Take it FWIW, and source caveat, but...
seems too good to be true
it from your link. where can i find it.
From http://twitter.com/#!/bestdamnpoll
Again,I can't vouch for the source. But I figured I'd throw it out there.
That site is ran by Ace Williams's brother, Deuce Williams.
The million dollar finger
Rivals headline: "Did Sheldon Day make a commitment at the Opening?" Haven't heard anything linking him to Michigan recently but I know there was some buzz on here about him early. Any idea if he is/was still on our board or where he may have committed?
He didn't commit anywhere and yes he's still on our board. He's planning on deciding late though and we may not have room for him which is why there hasn't been a lot of buzz around him.
Thanks for the update!
As much as I want Kalis to come to Michigan, that source doesn't seem too credible. I hope i'm wrong though. I have to work today and will be anxious to see a new Hello Post from Tim when I get home.
Go to GBW and read the article Sam Webb just posted.
