Piss On Rocky Top
Pay back for 2002 Citrus Bowl and 1997 shared national championship, albeit via a different sport.
Still await the day when we beat them down on the gridiron, but this will do nicely for now.
The Creamsicles melted down in this one!
I have hated that school since the 1997 whining about the Woodson/Manning Heisman vote and the cheesy switched vote by the football coach (in favor of a team that was undefeated only because of a lucky bounce off someone's foot/catch in the end zone). the hell with them. I hope they enjoyed Lane Kifflin as a coach too.
"Piss"? Come on, have some class. Men don't hold grudges, women do.
Guilty as charged for holding a serious grudge against Tennessee and their douchy coach for screwing us in the coach's poll in '97.
I watched that stupid game. They basically rolled over and died against Nebraska.....
But there's no way. They had the legendary Peyton Manning, the greatest college football player in the history of the world who totally deserved the Heisman. Just ask the coach who got his revenge with his vote. Asshole.
You mean Payton Chokeboy? I think he looked the worst in that game. All through the game I had to hear the CBS jackasses say (Or was it ABC...Or is CBS Jackass redundant), "Boy if Nebraska doesn't deserve the Championship, I don't know who does....".
Misogyny=class?
That second sentence was a bit unnecessary.
Shared title with Nebraska. We did win 3/4 of it tho.
Hey, but at least they've got great academics down there.
Oh, wait.
I hate Tennessee.
Were we playing Nebraska?
Phil Fulmer reportedly cost us a unanimous national championship.
one theory is that fulmer voted Michigan #4 in the coaches poll to drop us to #2 behind Nebraska. I think that was the only way the math would have worked out.
Its true. He did it. I have hated Fulmer and Tennessee ever since. Rocky Flop go home
We don't know if he did or didn't. He denied it. For all we know, it could have been Tom Osborne. It's also possible that two coaches voted us #3.
Having said that, Fulmer whined way too much about Woodson winning the Heisman over Peytie Pie.
