I had a similar experience in becoming a Liverpool fan, seeing in them a lot of what I see in Michigan football: former powerhouses, historic champions, with great team songs, great historic stadiums, from regions with great music (Motown and the Beatles). I have loved the Klopp years, obviously. Wish him well and hope we can get a great replacement.
I have never been afraid of heights. I was a college gymnast, so I'm used to doing risky things high above the ground, and I have even climbed a few times. But, I can't watch those free-climbing docs; they make me so tense, it's like I'm about to be eaten by a swarm of insects, I can't take it.
If Michigan could turn anybody into Woodson 2.0, I feel pretty certain it would be a priority. How are they supposed to do that? Do you mean they should use Johnson on O and on special teams? Might be good idea.
This is weird, given my comments above about not kicking people out of the club, but how is this guy's post still here on the board, after like 18 hours?
I've never seen such racist filth on here, and I'm amazed it hasn't been removed.
I mean, I'm all for differing opinions, including one like Northern Exposure's that strays from consensus opinion but whose general tone is an attempt to improve the way we all get along.
But this is really ugly, and doesn't do anything positive, and lots of negative.
Wow, you can fuck right off with that racist shit. Banhammer for you. I know you'll be gone soon, but I want to say to you before you leave that I really hope you reconsider the way you use your brain. You have a serious problem, even if you think you don't. That was messed up, and hurts lots of people, so change.
Oh come on, this is ridiculous. You sound like a child. I'm not kicking somebody out of the club for voicing an opinion that looks beyond the walls of our team box, and asks us to consider the greater good. We have enough of that everywhere today.
My understanding is that the players that participated in the assault weren't starters, and didn't get much if any PT in the game. What that says about the culture at that school under Tuck, I don't know
I was also very surprised to hear Cade say he wasn't expecting a rotation, and imply he deserved better. I mean, if there's one thing Harbaugh has always been about, it's competition for spots. So that was shocking for me and is not a good luck for him.
That said, I think it's way overreacting to say he could end up 4th string or worse - come on. That would be vindictive as hell and a HORRIBLE look for JH.
What are you talking about? He goes completely horizontal and makes the layout pick an inch from the ground. It's not like he was just standing there and the ball hit him in the mask.
Yes, but those of you (us?) who insist on using expressions as they were originally intended - and not as practiced currently by the overwhelming majority - are destined to go the way of the dodo and of the University of Michigan (if we let academics handle NIL).

"Make it ugly and gritty and manage to get ugly goals."
I agree they needed to do this. Some size would help; with Rasmussen out, they're pretty small up front. When is he coming back?

No they didn't - all of the News writers picked OSU. https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/college/university-michigan/2022/11/25/predictions-michigan-football-at-ohio-state/69665850007/
The weather looks great
Exactly. I can't believe people are getting excited about it. It's like they forget any other basketball they've seen Juwan coach.

Oh c'mon, let's not exaggerate.

Yeah Dean, well said. Hang in there
Did you make the same typo twice, or do you call refs "reds"? just curious
Yeah, when I heard Herbie gushing over the Wisconsin D the other day, I thought it just reeked of having an agenda.
It's a real possibility.
Thanks for posting this. I missed the piece during the game and wanted to know a little bit more about him. Go Meech.
See that, 1WhoStayed?
Yep
Thanks for dropping in to tell us that. You seem like a guy we should all listen to.
Sorry man, heart goes out to you.

Any and all of the negs you get will be well-deserved.
Agreed. I noticed that too. The silence from the talking heads was quite appropriate
