He totally berated his kicker to the sideline reporter as he was interviewed before the half. I believe it was his last game at UC (right before he took the Notre Dame job). I was objective at the time and he came across as a huge jackass. |

I didn't really giggle, of course - but I could have. I asked one of my many intolerable buckeye-loving co-workers yesterday if they were going to hang 70 on Eastern. His reply, "no way man, Tressel is way too classy for that. He never runs up the score." I've never been so happy to see OSU put 70+ up on the board. I love when they're forced to face one of their many delusions head on. |

of course I'm stuck in buckeye country, but every time i see an adult male in a jersey outside of a stadium or a house, i think "trashy." i make an exception for UM jerseys, but since the OP is outside of Michigan, I'd recommend leaving the jersey at home. |

Been following Braxton for several years now. He's been tearing up the Dayton area since he was a sophomore. Had some injuries, but his decision making and non-'arm punt' throwing motion makes him look like a much more competent college passer than TP. Reminds me a lot of Troy Smith. I'll still take Devin any day, though. |

I live in Dayton and am a basketball guy. From everything I've seen of Gregory's tenure, he seems like a terrible Xs and Os coach. Yes, he can do the recruiting thing, car commercials, and a killer Michael J. Fox impersonation...but I would've taken Brad Brownell in a heartbeat (obviously, Clemson did) and a couple high school coaches in Dayton over Gregory. I was salivating over the thought of him going to MSU to replace Izzo. |

Autumn in Ohio is so much more enjoyable when the Bucks lose early. Instead of hearing how this year's squad is the best team eva, we get to hear all the reasons they should've won. |

I was depressed when Varsity Blue shut down. I thought "what am I going to do with myself with only one great UM blog to frequent?". Safe to say, I spend way more time on mgoblog now than I did on both back them. Sum is much greater now than the parts were. Thanks guys! |

Sat behind Novak (and Ant, Akunne, Morris, and Manny) at the football opener and had a lengthy conversation with him at halftime. And it was pretty evident he had rallied the guys to come to the game to support Kelvin Grady. My wife and I were really impressed with him. |

I was yelling at Beilein to get T'd up for about two straight minutes (9:00-7:00) during the 2nd half as the lead was slipping away. As a coach, I've always been a big advocate of the technical making a huge difference in the officiating and your players' energy. Once had 12 calls to 1 against my team pre-tech and ended the game at 14 apiece. |

Not stopping the ball on d. No effort to create passing angles. No one outside of novak crashing the boards or going for loose balls. Won't win games even if you're shooting well, if the effort isn't there. |
