I just can’t see OSU scoring more than 10-14 on us. I’ve held out saying this until this game, but this is by far the best defense we’ve had since Donny’s been here. Maybe since ‘97. I have an amazing amount of confidence in Donny and our D. Especially, when we bring pressure. Nobody can handle that.
There were an overwhelming amount of Michigan fans there. Kansas, too, but more Michigan fans. Really didn’t see too many Nova fans. Maybe it’s because where I was sitting, (caddy corner to the Loyala bench) but seriously only saw a handful of Nova fans. Going out to bars later cemented that thought. Not many Nova fans. My guess is that the Championship game will be about 70/30 UM fans. I’ve decided I’m going to the game. Go Blue!!!!
One thing I haven't seen mentioned was the Minny field goal from 48 yards on FOURTH & EIGHTEEN Hoke sends no pressure! I had to rewind it just to be sure. Why the fuck are you not trying to block that???? How dumb do you have to be to try a fake field goal on 4th and 18? Apparently, Hoke is even more stupid because he actually thought they might. He's literally clueless. That was definitely a "Wow Experience" (TM).
I have been living in Austin for 4 years in June. I moved from Ohio. It's been the best decision I ever made. I've travelled all over the country the last 5-7 years and nothing comes close to it. It's COMPLETELY different from the rest of Texas. The only drawback is the heat, which I don't mind at all. 80 degree summer nights are great and 80 degree Novembers are even better. There's traffic in all big cities. It's an awesome artistic town, the people are great and it's a gorgeous city with a small town feel. I wouldn't live anywhere besides here. I live on the west side by Barton Springs and it's great. Living on the west side gives you a much different perspective of the city as opposed to living on the east side (more poverty, but also younger, artsy types), which I did for 3 years. There's a Pluckers bar on South Lamar that is packed with M fans every football Saturday. It's been the fastest growing city in the US for several years for a reason. On second thought, don't move here. The housing prices are skyrocketing bc so many people are moving here. K Thanks.
This. My mom has brain cancer. The doctors told her she had two years to live. She's sought alternative treatment not recognized by the FDA. Why? Because it actually works. The Gerson Institute doesn't accept brain cancer patients, unfortunately, but she followed many of the same tenets. She's cut out processed sugar and sodium from her diet, only eats organic food and started a cannabis treatment. She had an MRI on Monday and much to the shock of her ignorant, money hungry doctors the tumors in her brain are practically GONE. This all happened in less than two months! Her doctos dismissed it as an unexplainable "miracle". Oddly enough, people and doctors don't realize that eating garbage helps produce disease. And the organizations responsible don't tell people either. Cancer is BIG business. That's why there's only a focus on the CURE and not the CAUSE.
So, yes, Fuck Cancer, but more importantly, fuck the organizations that profit from it and have no desire to find a cure.
I live in Austin and have time Warner. I'm worried the game won't be playing anywhere here with UT playing at the same time. Not familiar with directv. Will a bar that has directv get the game here? And do abc prime time games show on espn3?
I didn't have cable for about 5 years or so. I was the stream king. However, it seemed the streams would always crap out at important junctures of the game. I missed one of the first TD's of UTL because of this. I had a great setup, too. Was streaming games from my Mac Pro to an expensive projector and screen. But I'd finally had enough. I was having to go to bars to watch important games and quickly discovered spending 3+ hours at a bar every Saturday was much more expensive than paying the $80-$100 for cable a month. Time Warner, at least in Austin, allows you to cancel at any time w/out a fee. I figured I'd cancel it during the summer/slow sports months and hook it up for football/basketball season.
Streams are getting better every year, but they still crap out. If you don't mind missing 10+ plays a game go with streaming. Otherwise, watch at a bar or stick with cable.
Real recognize real. Coach Hoke and his staff seem to be incredibly real, fun-loving guys. Who wouldn't want to play for a staff that likes to have so much fun, but know when it's time to work? Sprinkle in Coach Mattison (the 25 year-old) who's coached some of the best players the game has ever seen and the fact that This Is Michigan, fergodsakes and it's a no-brainer. This staff has been here long enough now that they're able to start relationships with elite talent much earlier in the process. The sky is the limit for this class. Just as it will be from now on as long as Brady is here.
Italian sub for lunch. I ate the whole damn thing, too. Got a ill crazy at lunch. But I have a footling veggie sub and a 6 inch Italian sub for tonight. Definitely gettin crazy tonight!!!! Go Blue!
Amazing article, Ace. You put what a lot of us are thinking into words. Tomorrow night WILL be the final time these guys are all on the same team. We only have one more game to see them make history. What happens tomorrow will be talked about for years and years to come. Lets all enjoy this moment right now.
Go Blue!
I watched the game alone so as not to annoy anyone when I rewind every great M play 7 times. I've been standing up in front of the tv ever since Trey stole the ball in the opening minute of the VCU game, only sitting for timeouts to check MgoBlog on the iPad. So, I was standing, laughing hysterically and screaming, "What the hell?!!! What the hell??!!!! Holy shit! Holy fuckin shit! What the fuck just happened???? Holy shit! Ohhhh my god. What the fuck.....just happened? Yessssssss!!!!" Over and over again. Just in shock.
Although this joke has been making me laugh since Brian posted it I totally forgot until just now that I had a sub for lunch (Short Bus Subs-Austin, Texas) and still have the other half of it in my fridge for later. Amazing coincidence. It's gonna get crazy here tonight.

I believe this is the same crew from the OSU game a couple years ago. So let’s hope not.
Coach Wheatley with another cryptic tweet. He just posted "Mellow Yellow" by Donovan.

How dumb are these reporters? Have they ever watched a football game? Have they ever spoken to another human being? I wonder why print media is dying?
