Havn't been able to get a BTN stream on VLC since last football season. Hope they're back for this season, but the only links I see on the site now are PAC-12, NBC SN, and Golf Channel. Anyone been able to get the links to work more recently than that?
Hoping that time, 5-year Alabama guy (if he joins), and Magnuson returning can make this o-line decent. But right now it's still bad enough to have most fans in a bit of a funk.
I did not know such a thing existed. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoyed the first couple of football ones like this, but then something happened that made me lose interest.
Why is it not known as the Wild Wings Copper Bowl instead of just the Wild Wings Bowl? They should have kept the original name of the bowl and just added on if possible. Its current name makes it sound like a cheap arena football game or something.
I mean, that's one the reasons I wanted the Gator Bowl more. Maybe that's dumb, I don't know. It's the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl but you don't have to say you're playing in the TaxSlayer.com Bowl. Maybe it's partly due to leftover frustration from the season, but this annoys me.
Because evil exists, I can see Ohio getting lucky enough to play FSU's third string QB (back-up is injured) on the very last year of the broken BCS chapionship format. That's the only way they could win it because they're not beating any of the top teams at full strength. I hope Ohio loses, to avoid that scenario.
The glimpse we had last year was deceiving, some might say. Our coaching seemed pretty phenomenal against South Carolina (a team that was at least as good as the best B1G teams are this year), then we had this year's season.
I hope the staff doesn't look good in this bowl only, just to revert to strictly primitive manball the following season.
Plus ND and Ohio didn't lose in the regular season last year. The football universe demands more suffering beyond poor seasons for us. At least it led to an enjoyable ND blowout.
After the bowl is my guess, Hoke is probably too nice of a guy to cut him before and will likely give him a month of bowl preparation to try to salvage whatever he can. Heck, I think the fanbase needs to acknowledge the slim but real possibility that Borges is retained going into next season.
The team has been terrible for over two months now. There really hasn't been anything during that time span to suggest that we are turning things around or even marginally improving. I don't even think Ohio is all that good, but the team is just really bad right now. However, it's a rivalry game and that's the spirit. So good post.
I don't think he's coming. He was thinking of coming to the BBQ instead of a family reunion but I believe he's headed to the reunion now. I think it's still a pretty telling sign that he considered not going to his reunion to come up here on an unofficial, though. Especially since he isn't putting much effort into visiting the other schools in his top-three.
That's ND people pumping the rumor about Vanderdoes and academics. He is already enrolled to start classes at UCLA this month. He must have just come to his senses and realized that ND is shit.
Hand is going to a camp that's in Columbus, so he's suppose to visit Ohio during that time. Kind of like how Scarbrough was suppose to visit us since he was already going to attend a camp in Detroit.
Ah, Leon McFadden. He went to SD State so I'm gonna go ahead and credit all of his success to the mighty Brady Hoke. Him and Gavin Escobar are both former two-star recuits that were drafted in rounds 2-3. I'm not sure if Hoke offered them, but they both committed there after Hoke became the coach.
Not sure what your definition of serviceable is, but that's a little harsh on Ansah. I think he has enough tools to start as a rookie and could be elite in three years. There weren't very many great options in this draft.
I think we'll get a graduate transfer if we get one at all. We only need a QB for one year and it's quite hard to get Michigan to accept all your undergrad credits. Probably easier to get a guy into a graduate program.
Already have Mason Cole, and we're in a good spot with Roderick Johnson and Alex Bars (both are rated around the same range as Mustipher). JBB is also a good prospect that we're out front for.
Well, Tim was fouled on that fast break attempt. Also, I thought I saw Trey get pushed on a play where one of their players got an O-rebound and converted. The Triche 3-point-play was a questionable foul as well. These plays happened within the last five or so minutes. Quite ignorant to focus more on a foul just because it happened a couple minutes later in the game. They can't take anything away from this win, we earned it.

According to the Fox Sports announcer, Rutgers just put the Big Ten on notice with that win.

The possibility of Exum to Michigan has been exhumed but still remains dead.

The MSU offense was successful because of what Al Borges taught them on tape. I'm sticking with that.
We need to hear 110% to be convinced, with this being sports and all.

This is
This is Michigan!
This is Michigan, Alan [Borges].
This is Michigan.
Wait, what? You banned Ron English?

I have no idea who this is.

Sure, get Morris some experience. The losing would actually achieve something at least.
No points, eight three-and-outs, and only 45 total yards all in the second half. BORGESBALL!
More specifically, it could be better and still be bad.
Hilarious. Seems odd at first, then you realize it's an NBA game.
Yep, Sparty Dawgs.
Funchess
UM wins it, 37-12.
Funchess has a TD, Gardner has a fumble, and the defense is bend-don't-break (with less bending and no breaking).
I'll be rooting for the Figthings.
Come on kickoff! A couple of those passes by Devin just had magnificent touch on them. Also, good to see Fitz running like a new man!
Hmm, that's funny. I was just watching this on youtube earlier.
It has become abundantly clear that Manziel is just dumb.
Not much of a surprise, deal was sealed once he saw their new horned frog statue.
YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!
Actaully Gardner is giving the advice and Manning is just doing gestures to make sure he understands. That's what it looks like to me.
Cool

Very interesting, but just a possibility at this point. Let me know when it's GUARANSHEED!
I've been saying that for months!
970 is both greater than and less than 975?

Actually, ND never released him from his LOI. He's sitting out a year before playing for UCLA.
@WPIAL_Insider Chase Winovich will be committing tonight at 5:30. He is down to two schools: Pitt and Michigan
It's Winovich, he'll be deciding tomorrow. You can read into him cancelling his Ohio visit as either positve or negative.

Takes a pretty hardcore fan to drive five hours for the Spring Game. Have to say, that impressed me.
My google search turned up that he:
a.) already transferred Arkansas
b.) has an arrest record
Guess they don't update the JUCO list very often.

People keep talking about the length of Syracuse's zone, but I'm mostly amazed by how orange it is.
Sparty fans bring tradition with them when they travel.
