IIRC, Keenan Davis came from the same school as Adrian Arrington and had initial interest in Michigan which was never recpirocated. However, his non-offer is only an issue now due to the change back to the pro-style offense and the loss of Stonun. Hankins' non-offer was perplexing both now and then. |

I think the demise of the Alabama defense may be over stated. With that being said though, I'm not sure where they'll stack rank in terms of toughest defenses we face next year. By the end of the game, they had two true freshman (Trey DePriest and lightly recruited Vinnie Sunseri) looking like All-Sec players. But this was partially due to LSU's poorly schemed and executed offense. With the fortune of catching all of Alabama's new starters the first game of the year, MSU may actually be the best defense we face next year. Thoughts? |

Mr. Rolle might end up being 0-4 against Michigan |

I think the key thing you need to keep in mind is that Inge gets paid $6.6 million. That's the root of my dislike in Brandon Inge. I find it hard to believe Tigers can't find a similarly skilled defensive 3rd baseman with a higher career average than .237 for $6.6 Million a year. Inge is an expensive option for a slightly higher fielding percentage. If I had to guess, I would bet he's one of the highest paid third baseman (if not the highest paid) in the AL Central and probably statistically the least productive
EDIT: I do think he's a great role model and positive clubhouse personality though |

And agree very much with the content. I think people tend to get caught up too much in star rankings (though I do agree there is a positive correlation between star rankings and being a good football player). I think the reason that TP was a 5 star was mostly based on his 4.3 speed (which is also another component of the media hype machine) and the fact that his high school competition in Pennsylvania was "stronger." Also, 3 years ago, the appeal of finding the next "Vince Young" was a lot stronger than it is today. |

They should play that music at the big house |

I also thought that Van Slyke was ahead on the depth chart too, has anyone heard anything about Kovacs before today? |
