are clamoring for Bobby Knight to return to campus for a basketball team reunion but when the football coach allegedly acts like Bobby Knight he is fired. Those poor Hoosier people are probably very confused.

the officials must have been worse than imagined.
We need to remember that it took Bo 4 visits to Columbus before he won, with each loss teaching him lessons he would remember that made him a better coach. Schissel and Manuel need to investigate with the Big 10 office why Homey the Clown and his two buddies were allowed to show up masquarading as Big 10 officials on Saturday.
Kelly has reached his ceiling at ND. He could stay in college football at Oregon, UCLA or Texas A & M or go to the pro's in San Diego, Cincinnati, or Jacksonville. Arizona or Green Bay could even be in play.
I am pulling for Colorado and VT this weekend.
Keep the faith.

there was Wayne Duke. He was a real pain in the ass.
|5 days 13 hours ago||Why...||
do we have a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate as B1G commissioner? To paraphrase a famous comment by Bo, "A Big 10 man will lead the Big 10 conference."
Delaney also ran unsuccessfully for a UNC Board of Governors seat several years ago while B1G commissioner.

Of a collarbone fracture or separated shoulder is holding the upper arm protectively against one's side and flexing the elbow across the stomach area. Speight was holding his arm that way after he was hit throwing his last pass.
There are 3 ligaments that hold the AC joint together (where the acromian process meets the clavicle). Speight could play with a grade 1 (single ligament) tear but a grade 2 or 3 injury is much more painful and disabling. Steve Smith had angrade 3 AC dislocation in the Rose Bowl and was knocked out of the game. Dennis Franklin had a collarbone fracture in 1973 during the OSU game that lead to the shit-show with the Big 10 AD vote on the Rose Bowl rep in '73. Franklin was well enough to have played by New Years Day that year. Collarbone fractures are very painful. I lean towards him having an AC joint issue at this point.
My thought is he may sit out this Saturday and O' Korn will play most of the game.

is a dress rehearsal for November 26 in Columbus. That includes fake punts, going for two on extra-points and referee challenges.
If someone cannot understand this, they should not be watching or writing about college football.

is a career ender. It would not surprise me if they bring back Joe Tiller like Kansas State did Bill Snyder.
It will take Penn State at least 50 years to change the culture and have people who are enmeshed and in denial in that cesspool of stink to move into the after life. Any new coach is immediately going to have to deal with that undesired force regardless if he wants to or not. I believe readers above are correct that it will be a former PSU player or coach who will return and "try to save the football program" from the unfair attacks of a normal society who sees what happened there with remarkable clarity.

needs to assess this issue. I frequently see elderly fans attend games who cannot stand for long periods and have difficulty with repeated standing and sitting. These fans usually spend a majority of the game looking into the backside of the person in front of them because they are standing to see the game themselves.
There should be sections set aside for people with age-related or acquired physical limits that prevent them from standing for sustained periods or frequently moving from sit to stand and back. Many of these folks are just too polite to say anything but I see it each game I attend. Many standers are unapologetic for their standing and are often fueled by liquid nitro and can get profane/abusive when asked to sit. Definitely a buzz-kill to others.
