I seem to recall another low-star RB coming in in the mid 2000s amongst high-star competition and winning the starting job.
I know they have entirely different skill sets, but the point is stars aren't necessarily the golden standard everyone likes to pretend they are, sometimes they're wrong.
ESPN covers college football better than anyone, it's arguably the only good thing they do... It also helps that they have yet to overly polticize it like they do with everything else. ESPN ruins most sports but for whatever reason they've got college football figured out.
...because the ability to run the front office of an NFL franchise directly correlates with the ability to diagnose and analyze a play/provide color commentary...
Matt Millen isn't that bad, he's not the greatest, but he gets a bad rap I think because so many of you guys are Lions fans. Brady Quinn however, was awful- he seemed like he didn't do any research and had a rhudementary understanding of what was going on.
Worst: my senior year I was heading to a game we had against a rival school, got pulled over doing 80 in a 65. it was my first ticket and I was in a pretty bad mood after that. Fast forward to the sixth inning: I'm at bat, score is 0-1, 2 outs, runner on second (one of our few hits that day- their pitcher was really good), and I absolutely whiff on three straight pitches... I walk back to the dugout and toss my helmet out of frustration. Coach walks over and tells me he doesn't care what happened earlier that was completely inappropriate behavior. He benched me for the rest of the game and had me wait in the dugout until after the post-game handshake.
Not saying it was a bad call, just completely embarrassing.
Best: robbed what would have been a walk off home run three games later
Most Disappointing: we lost that game in the 11th inning
At first I was not a fan of the white pants, buit they've grown on me... Having not seen what Air Jordan's rendition of the maize pants would look like I'd say I prefer white atm, but I'd be interested in seeing maize pants
Ok... while we're rewriting history; LeBron is the greatest ever, the Fab 5 stayed four years, and Brandon Jacobs is a relevant person with a successful NFL career
1. Failure to signal (when changing lanes and especially when turning)
2. Cellphone use
3. Slowing down to 5-10mph under the limit because they see a Crown Vic or a Charger
4. Those A-holes that buy a used interceptor and then put a ski-rack on top
5. Stopping in the middle of the road rather than pulling over to the side when there is an emergency vehicle en route
On a related note: I saw a guy playing Pokemon Go! while driving once... Hands down one of the most careless and irresponsible things I've ever seen: One hand holding the phone, one hand trying to catch some stupid imaginary creature, eyes focussed entirely on his toy, nothing controlling the steering wheel (just hoping his tire pressure was even so he doesn't list over to one side), going 45mph on a busy road near an elementary school.... idiot
I'd estimate that only about 3-9% of college football fans realize just how bad their little brother complex is...
Of course I also think at least 23-32% of college football fans have forgotten they even exist
but in the interest of not giving Disney the impression someone from this house is interested in their crappy content, I put on an old movie I've seen a thousand times before... has the same effect.
Most of the memorandums, briefs, and articles I've had to write so far have been to the sound of The Patriot, Braveheart, or A Few Good Men.
that car was smoking! I mean it really blew the competition away! Between the way it would just explode off the line to how it made you feel engulfed in luxury inside it, the Ford Pinto was fire!
Saying that Peppers, or Foster for that matter, are attemopting to hide illegal substance use based solely on the fact that their urine sample was diluted is like attempting to charge someone with drug trafficking based solely on the fact that their vehicle is missing its spare tire; sure that is a possible explaination, but it's not the only one, and its just as reasonable, if not more so, to think that perhaps the less nefarious explaination is correct (i.e. they had a flat tire, or in this case overhydrated).
Also Danny Kanell is the last person who should be attacking someone else's intelligence

To be fair, he's not completely wrong; that whole stunt was set up... by Mike Dantoni
I'd be interested to know of any as well though

How many Brendan Gibbonses did we have?
perhaps if we can get enough of a percussion line it will make a difference.

of course for him there were also steps 5 and 6 which I would avoid at all costs.
Isn't access to curling rinks and hockey facilities a fundemental right up there?

Not if you're in a car with a manual transmission
Sure its a bit embellished and historically inaccurate, but I still find it entertaining.
