A lot of obvious mistakes in this game but I can't wrap my head around why our "best OL" couldn't pick up a blitz now and then. They weren't sending the house either. 3 DL and 1 LB shooting a gap, 5 OL blocking 4 defenders and they got through clean multiple times throughout the whole game. It got ridiculous.
He completed almost 70% of his passes for 394 yards and 2 touchdowns and didn't turn it over in a hostile environment on a cold snowy day with the DLine living in the backfield with him. He wasn't perfect but he didn't look like a freshman.
After the first drive it looks like the PSU OL was told to just hold on every play. I know holding goes on all the time but at least call the egregious ones out in the open FFS.
I hope they can get the ball to Anthony more in the 2nd half to see if he can make something happen.
I love how the offense sets up great home run plays for the receivers, who always break free, just to have the QB miss them streaking wide open. How many years has that been going on for now?
Over the last 11 years, since Alabama began winning national championships and became a dynasty, LSU has managed to beat them 3 times. More importantly, their biggest rival Auburn has beaten them 4 times and won a national championship themselves.
All this "boohoo it's too hard to win with a powerhouse in your division" is nonsense excuses for why Michigan can't get the job done. I'm tired of losing to these guys.
I'm certainly glad he came to Houston. Even if he wins the Cy Young this year (probable) and another ring (possible) I still think he goes into the HOF as a Tiger. He loves it here and his team but still often fondly talks about his time in Detroit. Such a shame a title never came then.
I really wanted Higdon to work out here in Houston. He just didn't do enough to separate himself from the pack and once the Texans traded for Hyde he was expendable. He should keep his phone close by though considering how quickly the RB's go down in Houston.
At first I was pissed. Then I realized the loss might be a good thing. Getting embarrassed on a national stage by losing a game to a team we shouldn't be losing to and becoming the only Big10 team to lose their bowl game might just be the kick in the balls Harbaugh needs to go through with shaking up the staff like it needs to be.
When is the last time this team had any killer instinct? In a game that matters just go out and kick the shit out of the team across from you? Get punched in the mouth and shrug it off and punch back harder? I'm sick and tired of seeing the same old SOFT ASS BULLSHIT year after year after year.

I beg to differ. Notre Dame accomplished that feat no more than a day ago.
Ronnie Bell was wide the fuck open for a TD on that pick 6. Didn't even look at him even though he was in the same line of sight.
How is our punter this shitty?
This is the worst we've looked since RichRod was calling the shots.
Can't stand the way he calls games and mentioning him with Keith Jackson should be a crime.
In one of the pregame shows they said it was LaMarr Woodley.
Prior to The Game I looked and ESPN showed Ojabo with 10 and Hutchinson with 9.

Hutchinson and Ojabo need to step up one more time.
PSU couldn't make a 2pt conversion to save their lives against shitty Illinois and they're 1 for 1 against us. Figures.

Is the review team at a bar in East Lansing or what?

It was a great throw. It was also impressive that his forward momentum had completely stopped when he made it. That was all arm strength.
If Michigan had won any games that mattered over the last several years I imagine people would feel differently. Sad state of affairs.

Tell that to LSU and Auburn.
I'm going to enjoy MLB since I at least still have the Astros.

Our clock management always needs work. Spiking the ball with 20 seconds left and 2 timeouts it completely unacceptable.
This is the shittiest display of "basketball" I've ever seen. What complete trash. Do they think they're playing in a bowl game or something?
Let's try to win the Big10 East first. Baby steps.
Oh no! Now they'll only have 19 5 stars on the roster instead of 20. They're screwed.
Pretty disappointing that it's this close considering how much we outgained them by and are +1 on turnovers.
Hot take: one of our important defensive players gets tossed due to a BS targeting call. It hurts but doesn't cost us the game.
27-13 Michigan
