I live in Marshall, which is fortunately home to the Dark Horse brewery. I'm debating on getting a growler of their Scotty Karate or the Crooked Tree IPA. Decisions, decisions.

Nice!

I actually have free time tomorrow evening, and I am looking forward to watching the girls dominate CMU! Go Blue!

Screw ND and their "high

Screw ND and their "high standards" that apply to everyone but the athletes. Let's see, last year a player sexually assaulted a girl who later committed suicide. He wasn't punished. Next, a student who is filming practices dies under the supervision of the head coach, athletic director, and the rest of the management staff. Is anyone held accountable? Nope. His parents get a measly $750,000 to deal with their grief. Now, Floyd gets his second alcohol-related offense. He could have killed someone while driving drunk, but because he can catch a football, he gets off with "community service." ND is a joke, and they are no better than Michigan State in regards to discipline. I guess Kelly has been taking lessons from Dantonio.

There you go.

Is this for a

There you go.

Is this for a class?

No kidding. I can't stand

No kidding. I can't stand that group. And it doesn't help that "Let's Get it Started" is played at every fricking basketball game I go to.

The best was when he said,

The best was when he said, "Did you hear that? Somebody's stomach just growled. Why? Because the rent is too damn HIGH!"

He's actually running for president.

Go Blue!

And thanks to the

Go Blue!

And thanks to the title of this thread, I now have "Let's Get it Started" by the Black Eyed Peas in my head. Ugh.

Is this a trick question?

If you've got about thirty minutes, check this out.

It's a documentary with Johnny Knoxville about Detroit. He explores different parts of the city, and it does an excellent job of making Detroit look good, not bad. It's very cool.

Going to the basketball game,

Going to the basketball game, but I'm still trying to score tickets for hockey.

I hate it when the kids get

I hate it when the kids get pulled into the situation. I was NOT a fan of Weis, but I felt for him when he said his son was getting picked on at school. They are kids; they have nothing to do with one's coaching ability.

I think someone said in an

I think someone said in an earlier thread that he was traveling down South with some friends, or something like that.

Ha! But you know it wasn't a

Ha! But you know it wasn't a leprechaun, right? It was "probably just a crack head that got ahold of the wrong stuff, and it told him to go up in the tree and play a leprechaun!"

That never gets old with me.

I feel like I'm tripping on

I feel like I'm tripping on some serious acid when I read your posts...

I know, screw him. But how many years does the guy need to play before people can spell his name right?

Too funny. I was just saying

Too funny. I was just saying last night how I thought Hoke resembled Pussy from the Sopranos. Now that you say it, though, he definitely looks like Bobby.

Another good one...

I found this a few months ago, and I love it. It's a bunch of Denard highlights.

That is too cool! My

That is too cool! My boyfriend and I are both into cycling and dying to see a stage in the Alps.

It still incorporates

It still incorporates Michigan State as being a Legend, therefore I reject.

Nice design, though.

I like the helmets, too, but

I like the helmets, too, but I loved the flat black helmets they wore earlier in the season.

Agreed. I know I should hate

Agreed. I know I should hate the guy, but regardless of his shit attitude and sneaky persona, he is an excellent coach.

Personally, I CANNOT stand Urban Meyer. To me, he clung on to Tebow as if he [Tebow] was was the second coming. Annoying. Furthermore, his "retirement" fiasco last year did me in. Ugh.

Finally, although he isn't coaching college football anymore, I cannot stand Charlie Weis. Don't know what is was about the guy (besides coaching for ND) that I couldn't tolerate. Maybe it was the river of snot that constantly dripped down his nose during cold weather games, or his nasty sausage-like lips. Yuck.

Wait...

Pryor knows how to

Wait...

Pryor knows how to form words into sentences?

Lame. It would be totally

Lame. It would be totally different if it were the players calling for RR to be fired, but as we have seen, many of them have already voiced how much they like RR and how they want him to remain the head coach.

How much say should students have in this matter? Not much, in my opinion.

It's things like this that

It's things like this that make me realize it's impossible to not love this kid!

And the fact that he put snow in a bag to take home to Florida is hilarious.

Easily my favorite character

Easily my favorite character on the Simpsons.

Mgoblog is about to ruin this

Mgoblog is about to ruin this semester for me. At least it will be worth it!!!!!!

Oh, sweet Jesus they are

Oh, sweet Jesus they are awful. I'm sitting here trying to crank out an analysis of about 5 Supreme Court cases, and I want to die. All I want to do is sleep!!!

I really wouldn't be

I really wouldn't be surprised is Bama won by more than 20. Sparty is going to get torn apart in that game. Maybe after that, they will realize that they were one of the most overrated teams this year. WIshful thinking...

17% of voters were Auburn

17% of voters were Auburn fans, 5% of voters SC State and Bama fans, 1% of voters were Newton's family, and 77% of voters were everyone else.  I don't think you can get any more analytical than that.

Please note that this is false data.

I agree. I hate having to

I agree. I hate having to defend ND, but the Huff Post has been out for them for a long time. I think they were just trying to piss off the ND fan base, which probably worked.

Yes. Brandon is a big boy;

Yes. Brandon is a big boy; I'm sure he'll be okay.

And good God, this topic has been discussed at great lengths all week, and I'm getting so sick of it. How many times does Brandon need to say that he will conduct a post-season review just like every other damn year and make his decision based on his findings????? Give it a rest, PLEASE.

Amen. I'm pumped for

Amen. I'm pumped for tomorrow. GO BLUE!

Great news! Regardless of all

Great news! Regardless of all the BS that's been going on lately, it's great to hear a positive story like this. Best wishes to him and his family!

1) These are rumors and

1) These are rumors and deserve no attention.

2) Who cares about Herbstreit?

Just saying.

I know! I sit there every

I know! I sit there every game just hoping he will have another 87 yard run like he did at ND. If that wasn't beautiful, I don't know what is.

I won't be spending the

I won't be spending the holiday with family because they are all going out of town. I work with a huge OSU fan, and he invited me to come to his family's dinner. I was like, "Noooooo thank you!" No way in hell will I spend an entire day with OSU fans, especially with it being two days before the game.

Needless to say, I'm sorry about your situation.

Grand Blanc (Mich.) four-star running back Justice Hayes decided to rescind his pledge from Notre Dame this past weekend after being committed to the Irish since July. On Monday, the nation's No. 3 all-purpose back made a decision to take his services to a new school.

"I'm a Wolverine now," Hayes said. "I just got off the phone with Coach Rodriguez and Coach Jackson and told them what direction we wanted to go in."

I want to win tomorrow for

I want to win tomorrow for sure, but like you said, at this point, what more do we have to lose? Although I'm sure if we do lose, I will be pissed off for the rest of the day.

Most importantly, I want to win tomorrow because i feel that if we do, we will have a lot of confidence going into the butthole of America the following week, especially because Wisc beat OSU pretty bad.

I'm not super nervous like I have been in recent weeks, though. Just excited.

I was JUST going to say that

I was JUST going to say that Stanzi looks a lot like Tom Brady here....

I wouldn't say we lack killer

I wouldn't say we lack killer instinct, but our redzone offense lacks something (regarding last Saturday and especially the two picks that were thrown against MSU).

Oregon and TCU. The match-up

Oregon and TCU. The match-up won't get any better than that.

On a different note, I'm sure

On a different note, I'm sure a few of you caught the College GameDay special on Newton last Saturday. That was a moving story! Anyways, in a situation like this, who is really to blame?

Just got back from the polls!

Just got back from the polls!

I just finished watching the

I just finished watching the mass that ND held for Declan last night. Too sad, but seeing the support from the entire campus community was extremely moving. Seeing his family was just heartbreaking, though. I've decided I'm not going to comment on anything related to this incident for a while out of respect for his family. If he were my brother/son, I wouldn't like reading stranger's comments about this tragic situation. Hopefully others think about this before they speculate and voice their own opinions.

No kidding. I can't stand

No kidding. I can't stand Whitlock, although he does make some valid points. Can't say I'm surprised he's one of the first reporters to call for Kelly's head, though. He just flat out hates ND. I'm pretty sure he was the one who said ND's athletic administration was racist for firing Willingham.
