| 1 year 22 weeks ago | you make it sound like we |
you make it sound like we cant keep playing these smaller schools. Who says we cant play 2 out of division schools? |
| 1 year 22 weeks ago | So you are saying that the |
So you are saying that the millions of dollars that Michigan earns should share the wealth with the smaller less fortunate schools. This is a communistic belief and as an American I can not agree with. If I earn a million dollars a year I should be allowed to keep that money. Why should I have to work hard just so that I have to give it away to someone who doesnt work hard. Michigan and the rest of all the rich schools already have to share their tv revenue with the rest of the confrenece, its not their job to support the EMUs of the world. |

nice to know meyer cant get every recruit he wants. cutose to hoke and staff for creating an environment that kids want to be around. |

didnt know there were a few calvin folk on this board. I never graduated from there but i did attend there for a few years. I was on campus today looking around the music building, holy shit. That place is amazing. Too bad they didnt have that building for me back when i was a student, I spent several hours a day practicing in that old shit hole they called the fac a few years back. Nice to see my 100000 worth of debt go to something nice. |

huh, that is kind of a jerk move. I do love greg mattison though. I wouldnt say he is some god defensive coordinator but i will say he is really good and probably one of the best in college football. |

| 1 year 25 weeks ago | There are some big |
There are some big differences. Meyer has won national titles coming out of the "best" confrence in college football. Lets be honest, the sec is a really good confrence none the less. Meyer is what I would consider a god recruiter. Rrod was good at recruiting but nothing like Meyer. Im actually a bit worried how our recruiting is going to do once meyer sets foot at OSU especially considering that we have to share the big ten foot print with Nebraska as well. I love brady hoke but the cache with his name isnt even in the same ball park as Meyer nationally, yet. A few good seasons by hoke can shorten the difference. I would say meyer is smart in knowing he doesnt know defence and will bring in a proven d coordinator to run his own system. There are no guarantees but I think meyer is as good a bet to be successful as anyone at OSU. Ive been wrong before, I thought RR would be great at UM.

Been a long time since I have posted here. hope everyone has been doing well over the past year or so. I am really looking foward to UM utilizing the QB run as an option and the read option. Both plays are exciting and beautiful to watch. I am going to miss seeing those plays get fazed out over the next several years as morris takes up the reigns of QB. |

yes, i can confirm this. I think it was 6 or 7 recruits that were in for an official this weekend. |

randy shannon would be a rock star hire imo. It will open up that pipline to florida never seen before. I like it. I would pay Shannon a million dollars a year to be the d coordinator. He would definitely be worth it. |

I have a news paper from after the first game Henne and Hart played in. I also have a pair of michigan slippers that I wear all the time. Sometimes to the store when I dont feel like putting on shoes. I also have the fantastic memory of marquis walker doing the leap to tip the ball over double coverage to finally catch it in the air. |

majoring in music myself and it would definitely take a ton of time to create a piece. kids like the one in your high school are 1 in a 100 million. not many in the world can do that at the high school level. |
| 3 years 5 weeks ago | well, i am going to take |
well, i am going to take almost the complete opposite from everyone else on this board. I am a pretty experienced runner and have been fortunate enough to train with several well respected cross country coaches around the state of michigan. You should do your running before the lifting and here is why, you need to WARM up your muscles to prevent injury. No, stretching does not count as warming up. Stretching works best when blood is flowing drastically through your muscles. If you try to stretch at a resting state, not having had warmed up, your muscles can not stretch as much. The reason why running is such a great way to warm up is because instead of ripping the muscles like sprinting or heavy lifting does it loosens up the muscles and prevents the massive ripping from happening as fast. This only works though if you dont run too much. what is too much? that is going to depend on you. If your max miles is 4-5 then a warm up run would be something like 1-2 miles. If you run more than 1-2 then you are going to start this ripping process that you want the lifting process to do. Also stretching after your work out will allow your muscles to rebuild more efficiently than to not stretch at all. |

if you all can come up with any other sources that would be great. I preferably need hard copy sources such as books, articles, electronic articles. I heard about The Big House. Does it delve much into Yosts impact on football or mostly his impact on the stadium? |

| 3 years 40 weeks ago | come recruit unity christian |
come recruit unity christian in hudsonville MI. Over the past 6 years we have broken not only offensive scoring records but defensive shut out records. We have won 5 straight state titles in class B and I believe we won a national title in 2007. Im sick of seeing our best players go to MSU such as Laura Heybor. Lets suit them up in the maiz and blue and kick some butt. |
| 3 years 40 weeks ago | thanks for all the info you |
thanks for all the info you gave me. I just havnt heard anything about muskegon in a while. Anyone know anything on their new coach? Is he supposed to be good? Was he a former assistant at Muskegon? |
| 3 years 41 weeks ago | he did very well at the |
he did very well at the Tennessee camp back in june and was only second to Jarvis Landry out of Lousiana if not equal with. Arnett has pretty good hands and his focus on going up for the ball is very good. He has quick feet and would do well to play in the slot. He also plays very big almost like a tight end where he has shown he can drag and fight off defenders and is very strong. Overall I think he is one of the best receivers in the 2011 class. |
| 3 years 41 weeks ago | the thing about kinard is |
the thing about kinard is that the staff at UM have known about him a long time becuase of the two upper classman that are going to UM this year. Im pretty sure they offered him early in the process and it sounds like they really like him. Ill be very surprised if he doesnt stay with us. But who knows. Crazier things have happened before. good topic. |
| 3 years 41 weeks ago | Actually Gerg has clearly |
Actually Gerg has clearly said he sees no reason to evaluate last years film because that isnt his defense nor his players. Some of those players left so a lot what he could be seeing is going to be moot because the personel is now different. He has stated that he is constantly studying spring film for hours on end. Apparently some of his players have walked into his office to tell him to stop working because that is all he does is watch game film and take notes. Im an insider so i cant give any links. |

thanks, but i wonder if the community is still growing? Now that we have implemented the point system are people joining mgoblog just as much? Dont quote me on this but I believe companies that post adds on any website want to know the amount of times a website is visited and joined. So if that number is going down Brian might have to open the community back up to noobs. what do you all think? |
