Your opinion of Brady has dropped because he's using the legal system as it's designed to attempt to clear his name? Yep, that's pretty much one of the dumbest things I've read on here.

So, I use a RPi3 with Kodi for all of my pro sports with the ProSports add-on (and some college), tv content (Exodus add-on) which is usually available a couple hours after air w/o commercials, and for movies (Exodus/Phoenix add-ons). There is nothing more bang-for-your-buck that is better. I use an Ortek Media Remote ($15) with a USB IR dongle to control it, along with the Constellation app for iPhone, so I don't need to buy extra things for it. It also allows for direct wiring to eliminate the issues of wifi. Total cost with remote is $50, or $60 if you don't have a micro-SD card laying around.
That being said, the absolute best-case scenario is to have a friend/family member with an awesome U-Verse subscription that will let you use it. Their website/app for streaming is fantastic and when my in-laws had U-Verse I got access to all of their 300+ channels without issue online. I would have paid them to keep it if they weren't dead-set on leaving ATT. I have heard that some cable providers are getting better at offering web-streaming of their subscribers content, but none have touched ATT so far for me.
The great thing about a Chromecast is that once you start it on the laptop, phone, tablet, etc. you don't lose access to the device. You can go about your business reading the blog, checking email and Facebook - whatever you do - while the Chromecast does the heavy-lifting for you. It handles WatchESPN and Netflix like a champ, I haven't tried Amazon Prime Video to see if it's supported, but if it is, I'm sure it works well, too.
Good luck with the cordcutting. I have enjoyed it.

Wait...so, dragons, people being reincarnated by old women who look like young women, no-faced men, and the other various fantasy elements are believable, but using two longswords isn't? I'm with you that the fight was somewhat underwhelming, but not because it wasn't "believable", moreso because it was a little boring.
EDIT: Directed at a comment about the sword fight not being "believable" somewhere way down in the posts. No idea why it showed up here.
I loved the episode because it set up multiple plot lines I have interest in. To me, that was enough to get me excited for next week.

So is Charles Woodson, Desmond Howard, Trey Burke...and a quarter of the posters on here, including myself, so maybe we should stop implying that people are somehow less because they are from Ohio.

Oh, the poor Browns. They get to face Brady fresh off his suspension. He will unleash an unholy rage upon them like we've never seen. My condolences.

I agree. And even if Tom loses somehow, he'll have a field day in court suing the NFL for additional millions. Goodell's ego ruined him here.
|4 weeks 21 hours ago||Actually, he never got||
Actually, he never got caught. There's no actual evidence of wrong-doing. It's all flimsy "probably" and "generally aware" nonsense. The crazy thing is when teams ACTUALLY GET CAUGHT ball-tampering they either get a warning or a $25k team fine.

The poor Browns. Brady is going to throw for like 1000 yards in that game just to give the finger to Goodell.

Have you actually tested that 8-9 GB/hour for Netflix? It's compressed, so I'm not convinced it's taking up that much data. I would have guessed 4-5 GB at the most. I've never tested data usage for Netflix on a PC or streaming device outside of a phone/tablet, which was not even the 4-5 GB/hour.

I have WOW! 110 megabit Internet for $60/month total. Pretty awesome. I'm tinkering with the idea of switching to their 300 megabit service for $75. Best pricing I've ever seen outside of those able to get Google's gigabit service. Glad to see that Fios is comparable in price. If they move here it will push competition.

|9 weeks 3 days ago||You're a joke. You do realize||
You're a joke. You do realize that, while the recruiting misses caused some issues, this team over-performed based on their roster, right? Beilein made some bad moves, but this may have been one of his most snake-oily teams ever. No senior leadership, best player hurt all year, still made the tournament. If it wasn't for some atrociously bad calls on Wagner, we win that game against ND and are in a good position to make the Sweet Sixteen. I know everyone's going to expect NCG runs every other year because of the greatness of the 2013 team, but it's not something that anyone but basketball blue bloods can do. Sadly, while Michigan is a big boy in college athletics, we're not really a blue blood in basketball. I'm pissed that we lost, but I'm not in the everything sucks about everything mode that many of you all are in.

I'll say it - there's no excuse for this site going down like a cheap whore on a Friday night. It's pathetic. The content is generally good still, but I don't ever remember the site shitting the bed so often as it does now. For the programming-savvy people out there, is this all due to the horrid nature of Drupal? If so, why the hell have we not switched out of it?
Anyway, that was a frustrating game, but in March, all I care about is survive and advance, so well done, team! We're not likely to continue to shoot the three like an intramural team, so that may bode well for us on Friday.
Donnal and Doyle have no shot next year with Wagner developing. That's also encouraging. Here's hoping he has a McGary-like tournament and we're all trying to find cool German phrases to shout when he's dominating.
Walton was ready for a break-out game, but some iffy fouls kept that from happening. Overal, though, I was happy with the starting lineup's parity in scoring - 4 of 5 in double-digits is good. Our bench was a hot mess, though (outside of Wagner, who should be starting IMHO), and we're going to need them to not play like shit against teams with more of a pulse than Tulsa or we're going to lose by 20.
Going to bed with a Michigan win and an interview for a promotion tomorrow morning, so I'm hoping for the winning to continue.
