Initiailly , I saw his frame and thought "Dude is stocky, arguably college ready with his size (6'2" 230 lbs senior HS) - thought he'd fit the FB role for Hoke." However, I took a look at his hello post and he seems to be more than just a blocker(shooter). It would be a waste of skill/talent if he didnt remain a pass catching threat. I rescind my initial statement, saying he would end up elsewhere (unless the SDE position is ravaged). I would like to revise my initial statement to "he would make an interesting FB and maybe add a wrinkle to our goal line/playaction game." |

i cant imagine what the team is thinking right now - just gotta MIB mind erase this one. also, i think the team is calling themselves the same stuff this guy is saying, probably worse. they arent kids - they are grown men who know how to take the heat when they lose to the worst team in the conference. no need to coddle them. What i would question would be beilein defenses in his coaching career - has this guy put up elite type defenses? I am questioning the man's defensive coaching ceiling without any basis here but he may not have a solid defensive mind. |

UK was turning things around not solely because of Noel's play, but the journeyman Mays, who has actually brought that team together. really capable player. Noel was very good on the interior, howerver Mays should also be credited with improving that team over the course of this season. Hopefully Noel can come back with a better O game and turn into a real monster. |

I saw Brian's reasoning for our D-Line being NOT in bad shape next year because we have a "horde". While it is a logically sounds argument, I was wondering if there was any experience/data to support the rationale of Incoming Horde ~= Outoging Experienced Linemen.
