"He's a hard worker, and he watched me and Tim (Hardaway Jr.) and Nik (Stauksas) put work in to become (first-round picks), and I'm just happy he's getting better," Burke said. "It's great for the program, too. It shows what type of program the University of Michigan is and the direction it continues to go in."

if we are going by pure logic, you right. goals are more valuable to Detroit
If not, I am fine with his style of play. It is one of the rare times where a player is that damn good that I dont think about what was the correct play or move with the puck. the dude routinely makes the right play and it is insane to watch

I am not fully understanding your point and i think it was because I didnt provide enough info - I meant 7.5 for Georgetown looked super enticing. I thought the game was prime for an upset based on how they match up on the offensive boards (they are arguably more athletic than MSU), the previous OT game MSU played, the referee conference association. Probably the only thing that made me worry was the 8 or 9 TOs in the first half, which actually did not matter because of the OReb destruction GT placed on the smaller lineup of MSU.
I fully acknowledge that my analytics may be terrible on this whole thing though, and this may be just dumb luck, but dam it still feels good to live bet this game correctly.
|24 weeks 3 days ago||the spread (7.5)||
looked super enticing, as did the moneyline. Live betting this game was ridiculously great. Basically got same odds when MSU went up 3 in the first half.
But yes bad for Michigan overall.

is one of the best insights I have read lately on this blog (assuming its true).

why dont you know this information already, analyzed it and told us if 1 tackle is really bad, bad or acceptable?

With "0 Fucks Given"
I dont know why you talk to anyone that has spent less time than you understanding michigan football. There is simply no point in listening to a certain percentage of your fan base, points or not, tenure or not.
This next season, I would request that you implement one thing: A more granular level of understanding of the Oline.
Thanks for your work this season and fuck those that are not incendiary for going 2-13 the past 15 years
and fuck those people that think this season is still going.
Til next year,

it was good.
I dont think it is that far out to say that the players have lost faith in borges - you are correct in that we do not know this, but I am not sure that is the right question. Out of the key 20-30 players that play each game (roughly) I dont think it is out of control to say some of the guys are just pissed they are not performing up to percieved standards. I am not sure anyone would be completely happy with how things have transpired

Is what Meyer will look at and pivot on yardage, field position, and situation.
I will make the offensive line focus on only one thing this week. Pass protection. I would make the RB understand only how to pass protect and catch passes out of the backfield. I would focus on making Gardner work through reads 1 to 3. I would line up jeremy jackson at the first read if I had to force Gardner to look at anyone outside of Gallon and Funchess. I would make Toussaint play slot with Dileo. I would use Dileo if I could. I wouldnt practice a run at practice this week.
I would cut out any sort of power play unless in short yardage. Even then, Devin would be in the pistol. I would make sure Devin Gardner never loses sight of the field via play action unless I have passed 3 times successfully before. I would not let funchess line up as a blocker on anyone that is 10 pounds lighter than he is and 3 inches shorter. I will allow gardner to do his crazy spin thing in the backfield.

I understand that you believe your team is worthy of a trip to the NC game, being undefeated for 2 years in a row. I mean that is a testament to how consistenly your team performs. There are no truly horrendous games, and when you do find yourself in a bind, you manage to get yourself out of it and then blow the doors off your opponent.
But you guys will get absolutely tore up by the other team in NC game. The only person you need to talk to is your scheduler. Quit scheduling joke teams in Nonconf play. If it were a playoff format, you would get fucked up by anyone in the top 6. You havent played anyone, in the past 2 years, that could be considered to finish in the top 10, maybe 15. And you had a hail mary against the ONLY team that could have been considered top 15, Wisconsin of last year. (Discrediting NW and Mich St btw)
With all that said, you should be able to, at a minimum, get a shot in a really good bcs bowl with a record such as yours.

I would like to take Michigan at -28 (seriously)
|34 weeks 2 days ago||just curious||
What were your expectations coming into this season? I am guessing being competitive against top end talent, winning irregularly against ohio state
|34 weeks 5 days ago||i dont know much but||
this guy sounds like an intelligent player. every question was answered perfectly, it was uncanny how well DGr understood every question, thought about it, and replied back with exactly how he felt (or at least how it was portrayed was straight up)
wow i am crushing this michigan line - i dont care what anyone says. this interview proves we will win.

|35 weeks 1 day ago||these are great questions and all||
but the only thing we as a fanbase should actually trust is a UFR of this game presented by Al. Unfortunately, this is impossible unless we break into the Fort and wire the place up to listen in...
|35 weeks 2 days ago||please.||
the only thing acceptable is beating osu, which happens to be in the top 10 of college football teams, maybe even top 5 (i doubt this). decent is not the right word for michigans expectations you.
|35 weeks 5 days ago||disagree||
are you fucking high? Our d kept us in games this season. Anyone that thinks there is blame to be put on Mattison/D is incredibly off tilt.

|37 weeks 1 day ago||Hey Team||
really interesting to see this blog react.
from what i have gathered, the majority of people saying logical negative things are considerably older to this blog.
those that are saying illogical negative things are considerably younger to this blog.
those that are saying logical positive things dont exist.
those that are saying illogical positive things exist as well though there is no pattern i can reconcile save for they most likely have emotional issues.
i would throw this gem into the mix -
1) Had Les Miles not slept with Gary Moellers wife (incredibly fitting)
2) UM loses every game from here to the end of the year (WILL NOT HAPPEN, i hope)
3) DB goes uncharacteristic
4) AND the fanbase somehow convinces DB to get rid of Hoke (NOT ADVOCATING THIS - AT ALL),
Would there ever be a scenario where DB crawls over to Les Miles and begs him to coach our team? Because right now, at this moment, I am unsure that this scenario has not come across DBs mind. And it pains me greatly.
|39 weeks 3 days ago||re: craft||
even though I would mind a player reminding me of Craft routinely, i would be delighted to see a player of his skill set (hand checking masterfully) get onto our roster.

|40 weeks 2 days ago||all stats signs point to||
not blitzing on too many snaps, choosing to not angle punt when it makes perfect sense to angle punt in the last seconds of the game, wont talk about the stribling robinson play cause thats just regression to the mean for Hokes staff, not choosing to run devin gardner on every fucking play in OT in a spread formation, not choosing to place the ball on the right most hash for brendan gibbons classic draw to have most probability to go thru upright, not using a timeout when it was totally reasonable for you to use a timeout to save some yards on an ensuing kick (not sure if this actually happened just inferring.
also there are no stats in the this rundown.
|40 weeks 2 days ago||wow||
One one hand - a difficult game to deal with the result given the opportunities blown in multi aspects of the game.
I dont know if I am still high from the savage amoutn of hash I smoked last night immediately following the miracu-fucking-lously blown first of two to three significant opportunities to win the game, but I find strange comfort in the fact that the coaching staff, offense, defense and special teams have not each performed at least average or better in a game since ND (allegedly). WHOWITTTMEEEE????
