road running no doubt, but this is a long process. With all the fanfare that came with his hiring, you'd better believe State and OSU are licking their chops waiting for a chance to welcome him back to the world of college football. BUT, I wouldn't want anyone else in our corner when those days arrive!!
we will see any "suprises". I wanted JH just like everyone else, he is recruiting all over the country, yet we still haven't seen one player to say " I'm committed to Michigan". I say his first class will be an average class, until we see results in player development, big committs will look elsewhere. I know our coaching staff is full of NFL experience, but just because you have a piece of prime rib in the kitchen it doesn't mean it will come to the table meeting your expectations. If things pan out as we all hope, 2 to 3 years we will be getting big time players.
I have been one of the doubters, his heart may be with Michigan but he I still believe he feels he has something to prove in the NFL. Why and how did this get leaked? Maybe it is just JH letting the NFL know this is what you are looking at if you want me. Not that he would use it as a bargaining tool, he doesn't need to, it is already out there. He is no different then you or I,, he will make the best decision for himself and his family. You can't fault the guy for that.
You got Hoke, who everyone beleives recruited well, Harbaugh and Miles. All three come to your door on separate ocassions recruiting your kid for Michigan. Who do you think has the most impressive back ground and track record no matter where they have coached?
With all this talk about Schiano- why hasn't anyone picked him up yet? Many people believe he would fit Michigan perfect, why not all the other various openings?
Had he won the Super Bowl, I think we might stand a chance. I just believe someone with his demeaner still feels like he has something to prove. If he were to leave now it would almost give the impession he can't compete at that level. And he doesn't want that. Many say look at Saban and Miami, he left without saying good-bye. Maybe Saban was smart enough to realize he wasn't going to have the control over the pro players as he does with College kids. You not going to tell a pro what time to go to bed, what to wear, what to eat and so on.
1 year ago walked into my bosses office, turned in a letter of resignation. Gave them a 3 week notice. 2 weeks into the 3 weeks he comes into my office wants to negoiate, wants to remove me from an "employee at will" to an employee under contract. I negoiated a 5 year contract, if they fire me, let me go or whatever they will pay me the remaining amount owed on the 5 years. Now if I leave on my own, I owe them a little bit of money. Honestly I never wanted to leave this comany anyway.
The only thing I know about Coaching is Dr. Lou says "Coaching isn't that difficult. All you have to do is make young men believe they can do something that they don't believe they can do."
The return of the SWAGGER.....Swagger isn't the Coach on the sidelines in short sleeves when it's freezing outside, Swagger is about THE TEAM, THE TEAM, THE TEAM kicking someones ass on every play.
Given their various situations I think we have a better shot at Miles than Harbaugh at this time. I can see Miles finishing his career here, then Jim coming in after that.
My son was lucky enough to receive an Academic Scholarship when he was attending Uof M. Because it was an "academic" scholarship we were concerned and questioned would there be a required GPA he must maintain in order to keep the scholarship. At that time we were told he must maintain a "C" average, which was the same requirement for any sports related scholarships. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

as to why we seem to have so many injuries? I watch a lot of football and for some reason it seems as we have a high number of injuries.
lets bring back "clap happy Hoke" for old time sakes.
Is "spanking" the same as "hitting"?

realized he doesn't fit Urb's style. Urb is all about speed.

pretty please.........
if we will see anyone wanting to transfer, I get the feeling the intensity level of the program will be sky high like some might not be ready for.
with the 49er's.....................
he is on campus, I won't believe a thing.
Harbaugh at the podium wearing a Michigan hat I will continue to suppress my optimism.

Someone please tell me why Mullen seems to be a good fit. For some reason I'm just not impressed with him.

I want the Bo Bobble Head, the large one 36" tall, I have a few small ones on my desk but that large one would be killer to have sitting in my office.

Just wondering how good and what kind of numbers we would have seen if RR wouldv'e had Denard those last two years instead of Hoke.
So unfortunate, one of the few bright spots of the entire season.
