the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

Exactly what I said. The Lions need to make it into the playoffs first before making such a bold move. Right now they still need to add bodies and quality football players to make this team better. I believe they did that with the first three picks. |
| 2 years 2 weeks ago | That is not a "flat billed |
That is not a "flat billed hat." It is a 59Fifty hat. It is the same exact product that the MLB uses. You can leave the brim flat like you see in the picture, or curve it like Eric Gagne. Next time you watch a baseball game, pay attention to the curves in the hats. Same product as above. IMO, 59Fifty is the only way to go. Best quality you can get in a hat. |

"I have one thing to say to those who "finally" feel you can root for M again. I don't want you here. You aren't worthy to root for our team." I completely agree. The only people that are going to disagree with you are those fair weather fans. |

While they flip you the double bird, just remeber to thank them for reminding you of the score of the game. |

It's a sad day when Barry Melrose's name is mentioned, and Gary Thorne is just "another commentator." Thorne is one of the best play by play hockey guys in the biz. I still have fond memories of him calling the Detroit/Colorado games back in the day. Exactly why the NHL needs to migrate back to ESPN. |

| 2 years 6 weeks ago | I would say this is how I |
I would say this is how I am. I understand it's just a game, not a life or death situation, but I do have my moments. Especially when Michigan blatantly throws the game away. Fumble Fest at Notre Dame 3 years ago was probably the biggest time I threw a fit. As for not watching anymore college football games if M loses, I love college football. I try to watch as many games as possible. My problem is going out after the Michigan games, so I hardly even watch the other games. MGoBlog is definitely the epitome of my obsessiveness. I constantly visit this page for updates from Brian, TomVH, Tim, and the MGoBoard family. |

There's an iPhone 4 case on Mden as well. http://www.mden.com/shopping/product.cgi?1082656245285149?1519?5409
Awesome case, but my Otterbox is a life saver. I'll save the details, but I recently got into an accident with my phone on my dash and the case was shattered but my phone was as good as new. If you want to protect your phone and your money, buy an Otterbox Defender. Amazon has them for $25. |

I'm curious to know how filled up the Palace was. Me and a group of friends were going to go but when we found out tickets for the floor were $100+ and lower bowl was $90+ we bailed. We couldn't justify getting lower bowl seats for damn near as much as we spent on floor tickets for Em and Jay Z. I just really wanted to see Travis Barker do his thing again. I'm not a huge Weezy fan. |
| 2 years 8 weeks ago | Players that I hated but |
Players that I hated but loved seeing on my team: Chris Chelios, Brett Hull. I hated Charlie V for some odd reason, but I met him at The Post after a game and he's actually a cool guy. Players I used to love, now hate: Roy E. Williams. Sergei Fedorov. Grant Hill. I used to love Grant until recently when he released his whiny letter that made no sense what-so-ever and ripped on having a Michigan education yet he has no idea what the hell "past tense" means. He may have a title at Duke, but he will never win a title in the NBA. For all the years I wanted him to, now I am more than happy that sending his ass to the Magic gave the Pistons a Championship. |

Dude, get a life. If your only way to curve your boredom is to sit online and rip on Detroit anonymously, then I feel sorry for you. I love how the narrator of the commercial made a comment about ridiculous comments from people that have never even visited the city. Paints you perfect. |
| 2 years 14 weeks ago | What some people fail to |
What some people fail to realize *cough*ShockFX*cough* is that the commercial was about being proud from where you came from, and being proud of Detroit. I have no idea where people are taking away the "pick up your family and move to Detroit" aspect. In no way, shape, or form was that even discussed in the commercial. It was about being strong through the shit storm this city and state have been through over the past few years. To take anything else away from the commercial is asinine. No matter what happens in my life, I will always be proud to say I was born and raised in Michigan. |

| 2 years 15 weeks ago | IMO there isn't a better |
IMO there isn't a better informative site than MGoBlog. If you're looking at recruiting as a whole, I wouldn't put too much stock into one being "better" than the other. I use Rivals and Scout as informative tools about upcomming players, but not much more. I've been following recruiting heavily since 2004, subbed to both Rivals and Scout and different times, and I can honestly say that as far as rankings go, they're pretty much even. For every Vince Young they get right, there's a Mike Hart out there that they get wrong and vise versa. As far as Michigan itself goes, since I found MGoBlog, Scout nor Rivals combined can even touch this site. The information that Brain, Tom, Tim, and the whole community give out more than fills my needs. Best of all, it's free! |
| 2 years 15 weeks ago | Hey now, there's no reason to |
Hey now, there's no reason to be calling fellow Michigan fans "idiots." Have you remember, our almighty savior Brian didn't even want Hoke when the coaching serch began. Nor did I. But at the end of the day, it's about supporting the team. It wasn't the press conference that got me to like Hoke, it was the fact that he is now Michigan's head coach. No matter if I wanted him as coach or not doesn't matter anymore. |

What are you? His dad? Just because you think you're the second coming of Chirst because you worked *I mean bragged* 68 hours, took 16 credit hours all with a wife and kid doesn't mean you're better than anyone else. That was your choice. To rip on a fellow fan because they decided not to work during college is completely egregious. Some people actually want to enjoy their life. It's not their fault that you take life so serious. |

I don't care who wins, but I did jump up and yell "yeah bitch!" after Bray gave away that pick. That kid has been acting like a tool all game long, he deserved to lose the game for his team. |
| 2 years 40 weeks ago | So first you say it was |
So first you say it was inexcuseable not to get out of the triangle choke, not you're saying he tapped out to an armbar. Ok...? I have yet to see it recorded as a tapout by armbar. Tito taught someone on TUF how to get out of a triangle choke? Wow. Now they will never lose! I actually can't believe that I've never seen a triangle choke before since it's so easy to escape from! BTW, your "you probably shouldn't comment" comment is quite humorous. #1 I wasn't the one bragging about my incredible BJJ skills over the internet. #2 I could pose the same statement to you. Unless you're not in a triangle choke by Anderson Silva, you probably shouldn't comment. |
| 2 years 40 weeks ago | Yep, 116 might have been the |
Yep, 116 might have been the best UFC PPV I have seen. Regardless, Sonnon DID try to escape, he just got caught in a heel hook/leg lock as well. Anderson Silva is the best MMA fighter in the world. Since you think the triangle choke is so simple to escape, let's see Silva put you in a triangle (with you knowing BJJ and how to escape and all) and see how easy it is to escape then. |

Is that your "insider source"...? July 31, 2010, 10:14 PM ET 'On Antti Niemi... The ruling today is maybe the most difficult number Bowman and company could have been handed. A week ago I was told any ruling between 2 and 3 would likely mean a trade. Over 3 they would walk. With rumors abounding Marty Turco is ready to be signed for 1.5, does anyone in their right mind believe the Hawks shouldn't go the extra 1.25 to get a proven playoff performer, Cup winning, pressure goalie?' |

I second The Elwood if you're sitting in or around the LF/3rd base side. It's attached to a parking garage, which is relatively cheap, and a quick exit so you don't get stuck in traffic. The Elwood is usually my pre-game wattering hole. |
