I have a Kubota zero turn. I had a riding lawn mower for the longest time and when it finally died, went through the same. I can say I’m glad I got one. I mow my yard and my mom’s. I went with the Kubota because it was cheaper than the Scag and have been impressed with their tractors. It’s well built and has the mid-size Kawasaki engine.
Re: Davis, one of the local parents said that his current high school is his 3rd. He bounced around because he couldn’t make the starting rotation. Just wondering if anyone has heard the same.
One thing I noticed from attending the UNC game was how much our young players didn’t understand spacing. Coach Howard was pointing and directing them where to stand and go all night long. I was amazed at how much he pointing and directing he did as compared to Coach Davis on the other side.

Just passing this along, i spoke with The father of Texas’ athletic trainer (who was also with Shaka when he was at VCU) and asked him if his son was moving to Ann Arbor any time soon, and his comment was, nah, doesn’t look like it. Probably one more year in Austin.
you know, about a week ago, i posted that Crouch wasn't that crazy about Clemson and a poster said i didn't know what i was talking about. no one really knows where he's going but he does have legit interest in michigan and loves harbaugh. we often hear recruits talk about the "family atmosphere" here at UM and that's exactly what Crouch feels. he feels harbaugh is real and that's one of the things in UM's favor. I haven't heard much about TN but like I've said before, no one really knows where he'll end up. I do know that Crouch is a terrific kid with a strong faith and he'll be great wherever he ends up.

You’re right, Crouch is big on his faith, but I disagree on the Dabo part, at least that’s what i’ve been told. I think Crouch is down between us and Clemson and anyone who claims to know who it is definitively is just making it up. I think it’s going to go down the wire as to who he’s going to sign with. Plus, while distance may play a factor, he wouldn’t mind getting away from the Carolinas to put some distance between him and others.
My understanding on Crouch is that he’s not feeling Dabo and that there are people telling him not to go to Clemson. Clemson’s selling point is that there’s really no one else in the ACC that can challenge them and they’re almost guaranteed a spot in the playoffs every year. Just putting this out there.

Let’s not paint with a broad brush here about prosecutors.. You have great people who do very hard work for minimal pay. Cases don’t go to trial for numerous reasons but cases aren’t pled out because of a lack of resource.
My wife and I were lucky enough to be at the game last night. Here are some of my thoughts...Robinson needs to come off the bench. He had a hard time guarding Luke and they immediately went to that mismatch. I think if Robinson makes that layup or dunks the damn ball, Carolina doesn't go on the 30 to something run. That one play changed the momentum in that arena. The crowd went wild after he missed and the following reverse layup. I don't know why UM went away from hitting Moe down low or letting him work UNC's bigs. He was doing a decent job and getting to the basket. Beilien definitely needs to trim the PG rotation. They were having a hard time getting into their sets. My wife, who is no sports fan, even commented that UM "wasn't as smooth" as UNC when it came to moving the ball around. I wouldn't mind seeing Moe, Teske, Livers, Matthews and MAAR lineup. Livers was definitely bigger than i expected. Davis did a good job out there in his limited minutes on D.
I was getting ready to go to work, walking from the kitchen to the living room area watching the news of the first plane hitting the building. As the anchor was talking and they were doing a live feed, saw the second plane hit. I left and went to work and my boss said, "hey did you hear what happened?". I said yeah in New York, she said, "no, at the pentagon." That's when we got word to evacuate the building because we were on K street. i walked back to campus in the opposite direction of where everyone else was running. I remember an older man telling me, "hey you're going the wrong way". I was a junior at George Washington. There was mass confusion. We were getting reports that the State Department had been bombed and that there was a fire on the national mall by the Lincoln Memorial. I remember a friend calling me before the lines went out to tell everyone to stay inside our dorms until notified otherwise. After that, all phones and cellular phones went dead. We were told they were being diverted for emergency services. The only way I could reach my parents were through AOL instant messenger. I still remember the message I sent my family, "I'm inside and safe." We had jets and helicopters flying over the city and armed soldiers at every corner for what seemed like months. To all the service men and women, a very big thank you for your sacrifice and for what you do.
Last year my wife and I were buying a new van. We were in a cubicle of a very busy dealership. My wife was playing with our 3 and 5 year old daughters. My wife popped a mint in her mouth and was breathing on our 5 year old. My 3 year old yells out, "mommy your breath stinks" which elicited several chuckles from the cubicles next to us. I couldn't keep it together so I had to step out.
Doc, that's some impressive points you got there. This post made me think of something that happened at work. We had a kid vandalize a truck. On the back of the truck, there was a "4x4" emblem on it. The kid scratched "=8"

I have a colleague who said the classes were open to all students but that the particular course number wasn't in the class listing. he got in because his roommate was on the baseball team and gave him the course number.

one of the espn commentators said devin's got an unusually high sack rate for a mobile qb..especially for being #1 dual threat qb coming out of high school. he seems reluctant to run when his receivers are bottled up.
While in undergrad, I was waiting for a friend to get off of work at a coffee shop. A girl jumps out of a black limo type car and knocks in the door. I hear my friend say, sorry we're closed. Met Okafur at a dim sum restaurant in Charlotte. Wife and I got to talk to him while we were on the way out and a got pic snapped with him.
those tickets add up. I remember being in summer school there and the parking tickets ranged from $10-25 depending on how fast you went to go pay it off.
