From my view, neither of Stauskas's feet nor the ball had touched ground in the backcourt when Stauskas gained control of the ball; therefore his subsequent step into the backcourt was a violation. If he had waited another step to coral the ball, he would have been fine as he would have gained control after establishing himself in the backcourt and avoided the violation.
We can't be happy because we're Michigan fans and Michigan lost. Now you are telling us that we can't be sad or angry in a thread titled "vent". If we can't get irrationally upset about sports games, what can we get worked up about?

I doubt we will see either Burke or Albrecht receive minutes at any position other than point guard (36/4 average minute split) and conversely, I doubt we will see anybody else at the point due to our paucity of true ballhandlers and the unlikelihood that Spike is talented enough as a freshman to force a two lead guard (both under 6' no less) lineup. I don't think Morgan has or ever ill play any position other than the 5 in Beilein's offense do to his lack of ability to stretch the floor and his proven effectiveness at rebounding and defending opposing bigs.
I like your player comparissons to MSU and I'm interested to see how their offense functions with so many players that like the ball in their hands.
I played (and got dominated in) highschool ball against SLU guard Jordair Jett. He's a lockdown defender and has hands-down the best basketball name ever. Jett's about to drop a bomb on the Spartans.

You could add the star rankings from the four sites (Scout, Rivals, ESPN, 24/7) together. Then a consensus 5 star would be a 20 star; a consensus 4 star, a 16 star and so on. That would give you a wider range of rankings without being overly confusing.
Carr arguing for 2 more seconds of time, Manningham catch on the last play of the game to wreck Penn State's perfect season and keep our win streak against them going in a down year. This set up his huge day against Notre Dame the next year where Super Mario was unstoppable.
The young guys will need to contribute in a big way if we are going to be a top five big ten team. If nothing else, all of their playing time will help us build solid depth for next year's Rose Bowl run.
please.
If they have two or three injuries, things will be mighty difficult and we the fans may be destroying our fingernails through the course of several shootouts.
but the media will bash us again for this. Which hurts us/makes me grouchy. Getting 4 and 5 star recruits from these two schollies would sweeten this considerably. I am just worried about our defensive depth and all of the departing transfers.
Should we worry that there continue to be so many transfer departures? Not that the people who have left this offseason would be impact players or play at all, but I have to worry about the way the transfers reflect on the program.
This would work better if wolverines were by nature pack animals. This is just too much like NC State minus the colors. I like the humorous designs better.

What was the line at the start of the season? You'd be sitting pretty with an M(+3) line right about now.
1. Beer is too slow
2. I'm drinking vodka cranberries
Finally, an explanation for last night.
I see things differently in this way:
TREY BURKE (1)
TIM HARDAWAY JR. (2 or 3)
Spike Albrecht (1)
JORDAN MORGAN (5)
MATT VOGRICH (3 or 2)

To be fair, they are academic seniors with junior eligibility.
Can we just get Darius Morris back from the d-league and call it square?

I'm going to be on a plane during both the round of 64 and 32 games. What terrible luck. Why do you hate hate me NCAA?
Remeber 18 months ago when Michigan was picked to finish last in the B1G and there were calls for John Beilein to get the axe?
Me neither.

Michigan was the 4 seed in the BTT last year.
The Big East is now as good as the current Mountain West Conference. Congratulations on your high mid-major status, Big East.
Safeties result in a change of possession and you get points, they're the best kind of turnover.
