I wonder if his  timidness was because he was playing out of position and he was told not to do too much with the basketball. He showed flashes at times and it was when he wasnt thinking so much and just reacting to what the defense was giving him. I belieive if he returns and is allowed to play more on the wing instead of the baseline  his game will blossom and we will see the player that shot up the recruiting ranks in his senior season of high school.

So we can blame the loss on the refs but if someone points out just some coaching decisions that could have changed the outcome of the game in our favor, its an issue. Nobody is saying fire Beilein, nobody is saying he his a terrible coach but you are fooling yourself if you dont think using timeouts effectively, understanding the foul situation late in games and managing the clock better would not have placed us in better position to win. He has made some great and gutsy decisons: like to start McGary in tournament, play defense against Kansas instead of fouling and keeping players like Morgan involved to the point where he can contribute in big spots. And because we can point out those good things we need to able to point out things bad things.

What spike was doing is what Stauskas needed to be doing and he just wasnt.

6 weeks 1 day ago	I love Jalen but as I watched	I love Jalen but as I watched this I couldnt help but think that they say they love Chris publicly but I wonder if they feel Chris cost them a championship and essentially their place in michigan history officially. For him to say that Chris wanted to disassociate himself from his college career because of the timeout and to live as if his basketball career started his rookie year in the league is kinda odd. Chris has taken the most heat for what happened at michigan. And the only time u heard Jalen or the rest of them back him for what happened really was in the documentary when Jalen admitted to taking money as well. I get the feeling Chris feels betrayed on some level and whether its real or preceived betrayel their needs to be a clear the air session between all of them.

Because Jalen happens to be on a sports analyst and was asked about and he game an answer? or because Jimmy and Ray have been asked by media outlets to do interview because they were members of one of the most memerable teams in college basketball history? or because Chris is still hated by the masses? They went to Michigan, played at Michigan and love Michigan basketball. If they want to attend just like any other fan so what. They maybe more well know then most fans but they are fans none the less.

If you want to believe that there arent clauses in contracts to safeguard against stuff like this, then you can. Are you trying to tell me in your profession if you have information that damning about a subordinate you wouldn't have to bring it to the attention of your boss as part of your duties? This not only to protect you but also your subordinate. But lets say the AD didnt have to tell the president, it better serves him to do so.

Many students want to attend universities because of the sports teams and the players that go there. I for one wanted to attend michigan because of that. I began learning that michigan was such a great academic school only because my interest in the sports team lead me to do research on them. Its also been documented i believe in the Fab Five documentary that enrollment increased during his time in AA. So yes he did enhance the brand of michigan.
