read yours before posting mine. Don't forget NW losing Mark and Jones, and the PSU regime change. Expecting Franklin to be as successful immediately I think doen't take into accoutn how good of a coach BOB was/is, especially with Hack. I wouldn't be surprised if Hack takes a small step back this year.

If for no other reason, than his punt return vs Ohio.
Returning SR QB, All conference WR, 1(?) starter lost on the defense, OSU lost their starting qb, ND lost 4 very good players and gets Golston after having a year away from the game. If Michigan goes injury free this year, and gets a couple bounces then anything can happen.
I'm almost(ed-not at all) positive that's what he was thinking as he analyzed his selection deeply and thoroughly.

Other than Florida, Oklahoma, and Arkansas a little, I'm not thrilled about any of the other match ups

I don't know if it's a huge deal. Would it have helped against State? I think the timing is probably more important, not having time to identify defenses and call audibles

2. "Shit or get off the pot" isn't a great way to propose (What Chris O'Donnell movie was that?)
3. Remember to breathe.

Did I miss the "big announcement" last week regarding 2 future opponents?
|1 week 3 days ago||I agree||
I didn't feel like he was contributing as much as his predecessors. And speaking with some players he interviewed, he din't particularly leave a lasting impression. I enjoy and appreciate the work that was done, but I think the people who previously held his position were a bit more dynamic, and he wasn't around long enough to meet the standard.

I almost always say it, or sometimes I'll ask if they are a fan or just wearing the shirt. The ones that don't respond typically snub their nose or act like they didn't hear me.

and I just dropped my cable because my bill was $205 to get the BTN with all the channels.

I think most talented athletes are so gifted they aren't as studious of the game as those who overcome physical limitations to be great. It's why great players typically don't make good coaches either.

arrington, Manningham, and mallett stay? or what if Carr stayed one more year? imagine the implications....

I've heard more than a couple highly rated kids mention their distaste for anything not Nike.

Mattison knows Rihanna lyrics like no one's business. And he did Ray Lewis's dance to a Beyonce song for D Hand

Part of the tour is with the academic advisors, the focus on academics is stressed and there is a lot of discussion on preparing for life after football.

he got guaranteed admission into their engineering school which UM couldn't offer. He never spoke with anyone from engineering at Michigan because he was interested in the sports management program when he visited, so he never got the engineering pitch. Essentially he was choosing a major as much as he was choosing a school. The losing didn't help obviously, but he watched 1 Michigan game and 1 Alabama game all year and those were on his visits. He isn't a college football fan, which is understandable. Saturday was his day to get away from football. It was very close between the two and there were plenty of family members close to him who expected him to choose Michigan.

coaches. We went out to eat when he came to recruit Dashawn and he is a really likeable guy who's young and down to earth and relates to these younger players on an entirely different level.
|25 weeks 6 days ago||I have debated this||
With friends the last few months. I figured you couldn't bench a player with a Legends jersey right? That's the kind of PR that DB would lose sleep over. But will a new offense even the playing field? Devin knows just as much about this offense as Speight and Morris, which takes away his biggest advantage over the other two. Then it seems to be a question of talent and decision-making. We all had moments last season where Devin would cycle around in the pocket and the we would yell at the screen "stop f---ing doing that!" If someone else is more willing to throw the ball away and take fewer risks, will they have an advantage? Not guessing, just curious, think Russell Wilson. All that being said, my original point stands, I couldn't see having the reincarnated Tom Harmon jersey wearer not starting.
|25 weeks 6 days ago||As something purely hypothetical,||
I think they are fun, I don't understand why everyone has to be so negative. If they are worn on Saturdays, then fuss, but can't everyone just be less serious?
|26 weeks 12 hours ago||True...but||
If this were SEC football, then the narrative would be how competitive it is.
|27 weeks 1 day ago||It happens all the time and it's not a big deal||
There aren't coaches or playing situations where you live that you wouldn't prefer for your child? You aren't prioritizing athletics over education unless the education at the new school is worse. An equal education, a familiar coach, and a better possibility at a free college education? The choice seems obvious

I've started on Shameless which has been good through 2 seasons.
|29 weeks 5 days ago||I've had this conversation||
A number of times, being around Dashawn, Tim Settle, and Matt Burrell. I would have michigan on the list being a fan, but the rest of the list would be the usual suspects. It also depends on my position as well and the depth chart. I'd be a wr/cb so I'd consider fsu, Bama, lsu for cb and Michigan, fsu, USC, Clemson, and Oklahoma

Why anyone is complaining about his salary. It's not like anyone here is paying it. Nothing you buy is going to his salary anyways. I'd be happy if UM paid top dollar for all of it's coaches as long as they win and maintain a good reputation.
|34 weeks 6 days ago||Yes he does. When I visited||
Yes he does. When I visited with Hand, Wellman talked about it. Not because of upper body though. His legs are powerful and it takes too long to change the plates for his reps when he lifts with the wrs. So he lifts with the OL
|37 weeks 45 min ago||I agree with that||
I tend to root for prominent Michigan players, Raiders and Packers because of Woodson, Dolphins with Henne, watching the Jags because of Denard. I don't have a favorite NFL team however, so I tend to just not root for individual players. It does make me smile though when I keep hearing Gholston referred to as a bust.
|40 weeks 6 days ago||Umm..||
He stopped talking to everyone at a certain point. Or you had some insight that no one else had, seeing as all of the people closest to him thought he was Michigan

That's an inaccurate assumption
