I guess I wouldn't be upset if Babcock left the Wings for Michigan, but at the same time I wouldn't really like it. I love it when Michigan hockey does well, but I'd be lying if I said I care about them even a fraction of the amount I care about the Wings.
Same for me with the Lions. Nice to see guys like Tom Brady do well, but I get so bummed out about teams I like losing that I can't really bring myself to care about players on teams I don't root for just because they went to michigan.
Does winning in the shootout mean anything for NCAA purposes or will they count it as a tie? I seem to remember something weird like that for college hockey.
There's a big difference between that resume and a guy who has went to three Stanley Cup Finals, won one and come within a game of winning the other two. Now does this mean that Babcock definitely won't go to Michigan? No. But Red was not close to the caliber of NHL coach that Babcock is.
I think there are both a Chili's and a Bennigan's right by Briarwood that might be a better bet, although I have no idea what the TV situation at CPK is like. I haven't been out by Briarwood in a while though so my info could be out of date.
Hmm, almost everyone was pretty nice to me at the PSU game. But with 100K plus fans there's bound to be some bad apples. Or maybe I just met all the good apples. Either way I'm not going back to that stadium for fear of it falling down mid-game.
Yeah I'm not a fan of wearing them to places other than sporting events/game watching events (although if people want to I say go for it), but I do own several Michigan/wings jerseys and wear them when I go to games. I'm not a fan of people wearing basketball jerseys because I think it looks weird when you're not playing hoops, but again, if someone wants to then they should go for it because what some random dude on the Internet thinks about fashion means fuck all.
Good thing we just drafted a D end, although drafting a certain position the year before hasn't stopped us from drafting the same position two years in a row after. Lions are gonna have the last pick any way so I doubt he'll be there.
That was my first Minnesota-Michigan game as a student and I remember filing out of the stadium and this older gentleman said in the saddest tone imagineable: "they got the little brown jug." That was the second and hopefully last time in my life that Minnesota gets their grubby hands on the jug.
I was in high school and I remember turning the game off to play SOCOM. I don't necessarily totally regret that decision because SOCOM was super awesome, but is kind of regret it. It's weird that they never replay that game as a B1G classic.
Waking up early for the premiere league is for the birds. It's all about La Liga and Serie A. Would be fun to see Arsenal in first though, even if it's still early.

I would like Mike Babcock to stay right where he is for as long as possible.

Only if it was in Ayacucho.
