Detroit Southwestern in 1990 had 3 NBA players on it - Rose, Voshon Lenard and Howard Eisley.
The Indiana high school that had Conley and Oden was pretty good.

Partially responsible for sure. They had no trouble accepting the good will of the homeless walk-on profiles. The least they could have done was hold a scholarship for him when one opened up.

This offer has to mean a transfer is coming, right? Add this kid and then you are done with the '15 class and only have 1 spot remaining in the '16 class. And the '16 class (which already has Teske) needs to find the replacements for Walton and Irvin.
Next Year's Lineup:
The following season:
Dawkins/ONE OPEN SPOT for a 2/3
We'd go from a guard heavy team to a having hardly any guards/wings in a hurry.

Furthermore, naturally existing stratification between the walk-ons and the scholarship players are reinforced by the NCAA itself. The post-practice meal is a buffet inside the Pittman Room at the Casanova Center. Between practice and study hall, players get treatment and help themselves to dinner, a rare time to unwind and bond as a team. However, players who are not on scholarship are not allowed to have their food paid for by the school, as it is deemed an extra benefit per NCAA regulations. If they wish to eat the post-practice meal, they must pay for it themselves. Otherwise, they must leave and eat dinner at home. Federico was fortunate enough that his parents would pay for his meals. Brown and DePalo would not be eating with the team.
So - they have the option of training table, but it's not free. I beleive there are other "perks" similar to this that walk-ons don't get to take full advantage of.

Also - walk-ons, I believe, don't get all of the same perks that scholarship players get. Things like training table, etc. TWJ, or anyone else for that matter, is not going to pass on those perks just to help Michigan gain an extra 'ship.
|20 weeks 1 day ago||Buy Out||
Could further try and minimize cost of firing Ferentz by offering a buy out. $2.66 million a year for 5 years? How about $5 million now, to quit and $5 million two years from now. Or something similar.
Now - Ferentz doesn't have to agree to that - but maybe he would.

For using a scale of 1-5, they sure seem to use a lot of 0's and 0.5's.
|30 weeks 6 days ago||Chart||
Am I reading your wins chart correctly? An 80% chance of beating App State, but 75% for Utah and 90% for Minnesota? Those numbers don't seem right at all, even without the benefit of hindsight.
|32 weeks 15 hours ago||I agree with all of this.||
I agree with all of this. The other risk you run with calling a time-out is a defensive penalty. Move them up 10-15 yards and then give them another crack at a free play. Calling it right away or not at all were the choices to choose between.
|32 weeks 1 day ago||it was.||
Indeed it was. But it's not simply Delonte Hollowell. It's ALL-CAPS DELONTE HOLLOWELL! Fot the number of times Brian has retweeted or referenced the ALL-CAPS!!, I would have thought he would have known it wasn't Lewis.

Was Morris the holder last week? I wasn'tN didn't give a good angle. paying enogh attention during the game on Saturday and the replay on BTN didn't give a good angle. If he didn't - who did?

|32 weeks 6 days ago||In his first year at Arizona,||
In his first year at Arizona, he won 5 of his last 7 games (including a bowl game win).
Last year was worse, 3-3 in final 6 (5-3 in final 8)... including a bowl win.
He's also got 4 conference roads wins in 2.333 years. Including at Oregon. (And he won at home against Oregon).
He's far surpassed what he did at Michigan and the wheels coming off this year or not don't prove otherwise.

Thanks for the clues. I was thinking older and on the defensive side, but how could I forget Jeremy Pint!

Larry Foote? But he's not from Florida.

There's not a quote from Harbaugh there either. Nick Saban went on record saying "I'm not going to be the coach at Alabama."
I'm not saying Harbaugh will be the next coach because of what Saban said, but completely ruling him out is silly at this point.

How to you attempt to charge? Either CBS was charged $410 or they weren't charged $410, no?
|1 year 2 weeks ago||Thanks for adding that.||
Thanks for adding that. Didn't realize it had been that long since Benzing was on the radar. But he's 25 now, so that makese sense.

Could you add how many time/where Michigan plays these teams as you preview them? Saves me from having to look it up each time!
|1 year 16 weeks ago||Nebraska section||
Nebraska is not unbeaten at home. Close, but not unbeaten.

If he steals them at an 80% success rate, then 8% of his singles become outs.

Even if Arizona loses on Wednesday, they'll come in ranked #1.

A #25 jersey with "Christmas" on the back. Problem solved.

Zero mentions of a particular player.
So, is 4 the lowest number of mentions for an FBS school?
|1 year 36 weeks ago||Preview Low?||
4 Akron players were mentioned by name in the preview. Has an MGoBlog preview ever mentioned less? I doubt it.
|1 year 42 weeks ago||15,000 seats?||
Between AO and Crew pre-sale and I think there was a Visa pre-sale, I'd think there were more like 7,000 seats available to the general public, not 15,000. AO bought well more than their share.

|2 years 11 weeks ago||If Michigan ties IU for||
If Michigan ties IU for first, IU wins every tie-breaker. Head to head is even at 1-1, so they move to record against third place team, then fourth place team, etc. Both are 0-1 againt Wisconsin, both are 1-1 against OSU, but IU is 2-0 vs MSU and Michigan is 1-1. So they get the higher seed.
Same principle if there is a third or fourth team involved with the tie for first. Michigan just can't get past IU based on tie-breakers.
